In our changing environment, please note that dates and conditions are subject to change. We will notify you when/if changes occur. SPECIAL RULES FOR 2021 DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE 1. At Logan Entertainment Centre and Crete Street Theatre we, will be following the Stage Queensland COVID Safe Plan – you can find a copy here – https://www.covid19.qld.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0024/134844/covid-safe-industry-plan-live- performance-venues-theatres.pdf?nocache-v5. At Logan Entertainment Centre, there can be no mix between those who are in the back of house area (dressing rooms and backstage) and those who are in the front of house (audience). We will have a designated flow with teachers and performers registering at the Quota desk – these people will not be allowed in the foyer with the audience. We are hoping to have arrangements in place, where teachers and performers can enter part of the auditorium from the back area, but this cannot be assured. 3. Other than designated teachers and performers, no other people are permitted in back of house. 5. All those entering the front of house area will need to sign in using the QR Code at the centre. 6. Audience tickets will need to be purchased online to avoid queues in the foyer. 7. Teachers and performers are permitted to go outside, but not into the foyer of the centre. 8. We had over 21,000 enthusiastic young performers cross the stages with record numbers in several genres. How wonderful to see all these entrants take part and how very difficult for the adjudicators to decide given the amazing talent they witness. Lets hope COVID allows us to perform in 2021. 117 Primary and Secondary schools and 48 studios participated. What a wonderful performance opportunity for our youth. A special thanks to the studio heads, teachers, schools’ personnel and parents who are so supportive and encouraging. Whilst we know that sport is extremely well represented, it is very pleasing to see the many thousands of young people participating in all genres of the arts – music, dance and drama. We look forward to seeing both new and past entrants and welcome you to our Eisteddfod. We wish you all the very best and know that your dedication and commitment will reward you no matter what path your life takes. A special thanks to our sponsors and donors and volunteers without whom this event could not take place. See you soon!! The Quota Team Page | 11
