RULES HALF CBBR 2021 1. The competition. Half Costa Blanca Bike Race is a mountain bike ride belonging to the category staged gears (BTT MARATON) composed of 2 stages, which can be played by singles or pairs. The competition takes place from Saturday 17 april 2021 until Sunday 18 april 2021 in the best environment of the Costa Blanca, Alicante (Valencian Community). 2. Inscriptions. - Any person wishing to participate in this competition must complete their registration through the official website: www.costablancabikerace.net. For registration to be valid, it is mandatory to fill in all the data requested on the form and pay the registration fees. 2.2. Registration fees for edition 2021 are: PRICE per person INDIVIDUAL PLACES / LIMIT DATE 99.00 October 60 or 31, 2020. * 130.00 Until November 30, 2020. 145.00 Until the end of registrations. (*) Places are limited to 350 bikers. (*) All registrations carry with them 2 euros of possum and registration platform, not included in the registration fee. The registration period begins on 14 September from 2020 to 12:00 h. and ends on 11 april 2021 at 23:59 h. or after the places have been exhausted. Participants must hold a licence for competitive cycling, issued by a national RFEC-approved cycling federation. Cycling or other sports licences are not accepted. Runners who are not in possession of a license for competitive cycling can process a temporary license through the registration form, valid only for the competition, approved by the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC). This temporary license incurs an additional cost of 12 euros per day and allows you to compete in the corresponding category, with the same rights as any other participant.. Participants wishing to participate in the Women's or Men's Elite category must be in possession of an annual competition cycling license. Page. 2
RULES HALF CBBR 2021 Registration implies the following rights: • Right to participate in the competition. • Competition bib • Welcome bag and jersey • Electronic device for time control (Chips). • Final and intermediate supplies (liquids and solids) of each stage. • Basic technical service (box tools) • Other extra contracted services, low economic cost. • Basic medical service during the competition. • Pick-up service for arrivals en route. • Technical Breifing of each stage. All registrations may be returned in full for 15 days from the date of entry into account in accordance with the provisions of the Spanish Retail Law. Returns carry a cost of 2 euros for return costs. Without insurance, returns will not be accepted outside this period. For returns outside this period, cancellation insurance is established with a price of 20 euros per person, under this condition the corresponding amount will be refunded: Period % Return Until October 15, 2020 100% Until November 30, 2020 75% Until December 31, 2020 50% Until January 25, 2021 25% TRANSFER OF REGISTRATIONS Registration transfers to others are allowed up to one week before until January 25, 2021. The change of ownership fee is 50 euros per participant. Participants with cancellation insurance have free change of ownership, cancellation insurance is not usable after a change of ownership has been made. No refunds will be made for cancellation, alteration in all or part of the event. Due to weather or any other reason that prevents the test from being developed safely, the organization may reduce the necessary segments by which it is formed in order to develop the event on the day initially set. The reduction of segments, the reduction of the circuit, cancellation of some stage or any other alteration in the sporting event will not entail the organizer to the return neither partial nor complete of the price of the registration. In the event of any kind of disqualification or abandonment of the competition, the registration fee will not be refunded in whole or in part. Page. 3
RULES HALF CBBR 2021 Cancellation policy as a result of COVID-19: • It is important to note that the COVID-19 pandemic and the response of government and health authorities are constantly changing and developing. Therefore, please note that the criteria contained in this document are therefore subject to change depending on the evolution of the situation. Consequently, with the situation presented to us and in particular in the cases we manifest, the athlete for choosing between these options. By order of Competent Authority. • If, by order of the competent authority, we are obliged to cancel the event or it cannot be held, during the scheduled dates. Participants. All runners must be of legal age on the days of the competition. The categories covered by runners are: • Categories. 1. Female elite. 2. Female master's degree. 3. Elite male. 4. Master 30 male. 5. Master 40 male. 6. Master 50 male. 7. Master 60 male. 8. Female couples. 9. Male couples. 10. Mixed couples. 11. E-bike. o Male Elite: Older men. In possession of an Elite license approved by the RFEC. o Female Elite: Older women. In possession of an Elite license approved by the RFEC. o Master 30. Men who must be between 30 and 39 years old in the year that the competition is held. Those who hold an Elite license will not be able to compete in this category. Page. 4
RULES HALF CBBR 2021 o Master 40. Men who must be between 40 and 49 years old in the year that the competition is held. Those who hold an Elite license will not be able to compete in this category. o Master 50. Men who must be between 50 and 59 years old in the year that the competition is held. Those who hold an Elite license will not be able to compete in this category. o Master 60. Men who must be between 30 and 39 years old in the year that the competition is held. Those who hold an Elite license will not be able to compete in this category. o Master's degree in Women. Women of legal age. Without distinction of its natural category. o Male couples. Single male category composed of two men, independent of their category by age, opt for a general stage classification. o Female couples. Single female category composed of two women independent of their category by age, they opt for a general stage classification. o Mixed Master'sDegree . An older woman and man. o E-Bike. Unique category to qualify for general stage classification. Restrictions to participation. If participation is reduced to a certain number due to any administrative issue due to the current pandemic situation or any other situation that forces us to reduce the estimated participation, the places will be filled according to this priority. 1. Master Bikers (individual and couples). 2. International bikers (individual and couples). 3. Elite bikers. 4. Bikers Non-federated (individual and couples). 4. Nerve zone. The event will have a nerve zone located in the Hotel Cap Negret where the teams will stay during the 2 days of competition and that will become the axis of competition. The nerve area has facilities adapted to the needs of runners: gym, swimming pool, physiotherapy area, bike laundry etc. The stages shall run within a maximum radius of 50 km from the nerve zone. 5. Secretary, delivery of bibs. Administrative checks and collection of the broker's stock exchange take place on Friday, april 14, 2021 from 16:00 pm to 21:00 pm in the Nerve Zone of HOTEL Cap Negret. The bib numbers are assigned according to each category in order of registration. Page. 5
RULES HALF CBBR 2021 In the secretariat an identification bracelet is given to each participant, which must be carried with them throughout the competition. This bracelet grants access to runner-enabled areas and is also useful as a safety measure. An electronic device (Bike Dorsal) is provided at the secretariat for the time control that all participants must carry with them during the competition.. 6. Briefing. A daily team meeting or Briefing will be held to which all participants are welcome. Review the next stage and report possible unforeseen changes in the development of the competition. It is only mandatory to attend the first, prior to the start of the competition. Any changes are published on the bulletin board located in the nerve center of the test, being the responsibility of the participants to be aware of them. The website will also have a virtual bulletin board to be able to check last minute information. 7. Development of the competition. The competition is contested in accordance with the regulations stipulated in this document, having as in reference in the general normative UCI. Once the stage is complete, it is published on the official website and on the bulletin board, the stage classification, the general classification and the list of participants authorized to take the exit. The output of all stages, are in platoon. The departure grid opens twenty (20) minutes before departure time. The organization will enable 4 output grids. 1. Male Elite and Female Elite. 2. Máster 30 male and master's degree females. 3. Master 40 and master's degree 50. 4. Master 60 and male couples, female couples and mixed couples. Five (5) minutes before departure time, no participant is allowed to access the exit grid, and the exit must be placed on the back. No runner may take the exit once the official exit has taken place, unless a Commissioner consents to it. Runners who take the exit after that time will be considered DNS (Did Not Start). Each step control, intersection control, supply point, departure and arrival has a maximum time of passage, at which point the service is closed. Runners must roll within this time interval so as not to be disqualified. The time to reach these points is announced on the rutometer of the competition. Completing the tour by means other than the individual physical effort of the participant and his own bicycle implies disqualification from the rider. Runners can push or pull each other, as long as there is no physical/mechanical device connecting them or their bikes. Page. 6
RULES HALF CBBR 2021 Any unlawful aid implies disqualification from the runner. Participants who are no longer officially qualified may continue to participate in the test recreationally as long as they do not influence the development of the competition. Not complying with this rule means expelling the test, without the possibility of continuing on it. 8. Travels. The competition is played in four 2 stages whose venues and stages are: • 17 april 2021 – Stage 1. • 18 april 2021 – Stage 2. The route is duly marked with signs, especially at dangerous points, such as junctions, road intersections or streets. The route is open to traffic, but properly controlled. Runners should follow the directions of thetraffic authorities and drive with caution. On Spanish public roads, cyclists must remain on the shoulder of the right lane. On tracks, it is advisable to drive on the right side. The route includes demanding climbs and technical descent sections. It is the participant's responsibility to decide if they can overcome it on the bike. The organization is not responsible for accidents related to each participant's skill or fitness level. Two types of controls are established during the route: step control (CP) and intersection control (CI). At the step controls, an Organisation Commissioner writes down the participant's number and time. Skipping a step control involves disqualification. Not following the signs of an intersection check implies disqualification. Abandoning the route marked by the organization implies disqualification. 9. Neutralized outputs. For safety reasons the output can be neutralized. In this case the tour manager leads the participants in an official test vehicle. The moment the Tour Director begins the stage, participants must start competing. When the official vehicle of the competition reaches the end of the neutralized section, it departs to one side and indicates the end of the neutralized section. During neutralization it is forbidden to advance to the official racing vehicle of the Tour director. 10. Arrivals neutralized. For safety reasons, the finish line can be advanced before reaching a stretch of asphalt. Page. 7
RULES HALF CBBR 2021 11. Rutometer. For each stage a rutometer is published detailing the distance, altitude, type of road, pass controls, intersections, supply/assistance points and closing time of each of the services. The rutometer also indicates whether the departure or arrival is neutralized, the distance of the neutralized section and the time allowed between the arrival and the equipment parking, if the stage has a neutralized arrival. This rutometer is purely informative and is not necessary to perform each stage. 12. Supplies and technical assistance. Supplies and technical assistance areas are marked along the route and at the end of each stage. These points have everything you need to meet the feeding and hydration needs of runners during the test. Supplies coincide with equipment support areas. The organization shall make available to participants a basic mechanical service located at various points throughout the stage and duly designated. 13. It's pointy. The route is marked with arrows and beacons. GPS is recommended Every ten kilometers the remaining distance to the target is indicated, just as the last 5 km are indicated. 14. Non-practicable stretches. Commissioners, Tour Director and Competition Director, may decide that a section of the route is impractical and impossible to cross, being able to divert the route through the points provided for by the organization. If this is not possible, the point where the last time control is taken as the arrival time. 15. Out of control. Depending on the characteristics of the stage the out-of-control will be established and it will be communicated by the organization the day before the stage during the holding of the Briefing. Any runner or team that has not crossed the finish line at that time may be evacuated by the organization or continue the stage under its responsibility. Any runner or team that is out of control may continue the competition without entering the standings or qualifying for prizes. 16. Abandonment. Page. 8
RULES HALF CBBR 2021 The abandonment of one or both team members should be communicated as soon as possible to the organization. The organization shall determine intermediate points where participants may communicate the abandonment, as well as be informed of a telephone number where they can notify it. Not notifying an abandonment means expulsion from the competition of the team concerned. In the event of an accident or emergency, and safeguarding the safety of the participants, the organization has the right to withdraw a participant from the competition. In the event that any of the runners members of a team leaves, the teammate may continue the competition. The latter will not qualify for the general classification, but can be considered a finisher. 17. Classifications. The classifications of each stage are made according to the time spent to complete each, for the last of the two team members, plus the accumulated time penalties. The sum of the time of the disputed stages, plus the accumulated time penalties, establish the overall classification of each team. The following classifications are established: • Individual. o Male Elite o Women's Elite o Master 30 o Master 40 o Master 50 o Master 60 o Master's Degree o E-bikes. • Couples. o Male couples. o Female couples. o Mixed couples. All participants will carry the electronic device to record their times and be able to track them. Organisation Commissioners must approve these times in order for the results to be considered valid and official.. 18. Awards. Each stage has an award ceremony for each category. 18.2. In the final prize ceremony, the first three runners in each category of the general classification are immediately called to the podium, once they have all crossed the finish line. Page. 9
RULES HALF CBBR 2021 19. The bycicle. Bicycles must comply with UCI regulations, both in technical characteristics and safety. Participants are allowed to change their bikes from stage to stage, but cannot be completely replaced or changed during a stage. Tandem bikes are not allowed. E-Bike. E-bikes allowed may not exceed a maximum of 250 watts of motor power. E-bikes allowed may not exceed the speed limitation of 25km / h. E-bike bicycles have to undergo a battery inspection and sealing at the beginning of each stage. E-bike bicycles have to pass the seal check at the end of the stage. The regulations that regulate the characteristics of e-bike bicycles are based on the following points. § Batteries cannot be recharged during the stages. § Batteries cannot be replaced during the stages. § E-bikes cannot be substituted during the stages for another E-bike or another standard bicycle. § The battery may not exceed 500Wh. 20. The equipment. It is mandatory to compete with the plate and bib delivered by the organization. The plate should be placed on the front of the bike. The bib should be placed on the back. Both must be clearly visible and neither can be modified. The electronic time control device also cannot be modified and must be placed where indicated by the organization. For security reasons it is recommended to bring a mobile phone. It is also advisable (but not mandatory) for members of a couple to maintainuniformity in their clothing during all stages. At certain stages it may be necessary to wear warm clothing (rain, sleeves, legs, etc.). The organization does not provide these garments to participants. The organization is not responsible for any items lost or forgotten along the route or during the course of any participant's test. The organization is not responsible for any breakdown or repair of the bicycle that may occur during the course of the test. Page. 10

Our sport, the mountain bike, is a competition and leisure activity that takes place in nature, and its impact on this environment is a responsibility for all participants and organizers of sports events. Participants are asked not to throw trash along the route, to be respectful of the environment (do not roll off the roads, do not take shortcuts that damage vegetation, etc.), be careful with animals, do not leave behind any spare parts, etc. Commissioners may disqualify any equipment that does not respect the environment or the private properties that are being traversed during the test, expelling them from the test without the possibility of continuing in the test. 22. Paddock. Teams must reserve the space in advance through the registration form found on the website.. The organization does not provide water or electricity to equipment located in the paddock, which must be self-sufficient. 23. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS. Any participant may be subjected to official anti-doping control in accordance with UCI regulations. All participants must be respectful of the other participants, Commissioners, members of the organization, the media and the public. Aggression, disrespect or other unrequited attitudes may be punishable by immediate expulsion from the competition. The roads through which the competition takes place are assigned solely and exclusively for the days of the competition, so it is not allowed to disclose the GPS tracks of the route. Commissioners may disqualify any team that does not respect these considerations by expelling them from the test without the possibility of continuing on it. Following the registration procedure within the official page of the competition,the runner will find a box THATMUST SELECT entitled DISCLAIMER AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA, ACCEPTING the clauses that appear on it. Reading is recommended. By registering in the "COSTA BLANCA BIKE RACE HALF" participants consent to the am sonido-energym itself or throughthird parties, automatically and for sports, promotional or commercial purposes only, their personal data. In accordance with the established organic law 15/1999, of December 13, on the Protection of Personal Data, the participant has the right to access these files in order to rectify or cancel in whole or in part their contents. To do so, it must be requested in writing from the registered office of La am sonido-energym, located for notification purposes in Cl Ciudad Real 16 block 3 Bajo C, 03005 Alicante. Also and in accordance with sporting interests, promotion, distribution and exploitation of the race "CostaBlanca Bike Race Half",for everyone (reproduction of photographs of thetest, publication of qualifying lists, etc.) through any device (Internet, advertising, etc.) and without time limit, the enrollees expressly assign to the organization the right to reproduce the name and surname, the site obtained in the general classification and the participant's own, the category, the sports brand made and its image. The organization does not take care of the expenses or debts that a participant may incur in the course of the event. 24. Claims Page. 12
RULES HALF CBBR 2021 Complaints must be formally addressed to the organization and processed by them in accordance with UCI regulations. ENROLLING IN COSTA BLANCA BIKE RACE HALF IMPLIES ACCEPTING AND COMPLYING WITH THIS REGULATION, AS WELL AS AGREEING TO THE DATA PROTECTION LAW AND CANCELLATION POLICY. 25. Registration conditions. Costa Blanca Bike Race Half is a mountain biking test open to any professional or amateur cyclist. To participate it is not essential to be in possession of a license in force and validated by the RFEC,the organizationcontracts accident insurance for each runner and that is included in the registration.. The federal license is not valid for this btt march. Couple registrations must be made by teams made up of two members, who identify them on behalf of the team. Page. 13
