Clubs and Activities The administration, faculty and staff of Monsignor McClancy Memorial High School encourage our students to become involved in school clubs and activities throughout their high school years. These high school years are some of the more formative years in your life. It is important to take advantage of what the school has to offer. The students who are involved in clubs and activities have a chance to learn new skills and/or master the skills they already possess. These clubs and activities are held in a more relaxed environment than in the classroom. The students have a chance to develop an excellent rapport with their teachers. We as a school, through our experience, notice that the students who are involved in clubs and activities have a tendency to better enjoy their days, months and years. These students seem to be more motivated in the classroom and look forward to something they enjoy at the end of each school day. The students also have a chance to become acquainted with other classmates. They will meet other students who may have similar interests. The students have an opportunity to better understand and appreciate their classmates where new friendships can develop. These friendships can last a lifetime. • Art Club • Board Game Club • BOSH (Brothers of the • Sacred Heart) Club • Business Club • Campus Ministry • Chess Club • Dance Club • Debate Club • Drama Club • Forensics Science Club • Hispanic Culture Club • Italian Culture Club • Law Club • Library Club • Math Club • Music Club • Photography Club • Robotics Club • School Newspaper • Sci-Fi Club • STEAM Club • Student Council • Table Tennis Club • Tyros Dramatic Society • Video Game Club • Yearbook

Messages From Our Faculty “As a student, the faculty and staff at McClancy believed in me and pushed me to be the best version of myself. That is something that I hope to bring to my students today.” Mr. Andrew Song Class of 1996 “Creating a safe haven, showing compassion, & forging strong relationships to help our STEAM Faculty students succeed is a pivotal part of my role in teaching at McClancy High School. Coaching here at McClancy is something I will always hold close to my heart. It is the universal language of change and learning. Witnessing when my athletes unlock their fullest potential in their own performance is extraordinary. However, watching them grow not only as an athlete but as resilient, ambitious young women and men is my favorite part.” Ms. Deanna Savino Humanities Faculty “Coming back home to teach at McClancy has been incredible. Being a small part of the continuous growth of a school that means so much to me has been a life changing experience.” Mr. Randall Sanabria Class of 2009 STEAM Faculty “There is no job more fulfilling than being a teacher. I love what I do because my students need me as much as I need them, we get to learn and grow as individuals together!” Ms. Samantha Colon Class of 2016 Humanities Faculty
The Future of McClancy In May 2021, Stephen Squeri, Class of 1977, Chairman and CEO of American Express, pledged to fully fund the makeover of our state-of-the-art all-purpose athletic complex. The project is scheduled to be completed by October 2021. The new field is fully turf and will pave the way for McClancy athletes of the future! This Summer, we spent the time to expand our Cafeteria and making our outdoor seating area one. On nice days, students can sit outside and enjoy the weather. On not so nice days, students can still sit outside with the roof closed, allowing for a whole new way of campus life. “The Anatomage Table is the only fully segmented real human 3D anatomy platform. Users can visualize anatomy exactly as they would on a fresh cadaver. Individual structures are reconstructed in accurate 3D, resulting in an unprecedented level of real accurate anatomy, dissectible in 3D. Anatomy is presented as a fully interactive, life-sized touch screen experience, in operatory bed form. The Table allows for exploration and learning of human anatomy beyond what any cadaver could offer.” Monsignor McClancy is one of only two schools in the area to have this technology.
