2020 Movie and Music Nite Sponsorship Opportunities
We are extremely excited about our 11th Annual Movie & Music Nite Series coming up in March.
At Mitchell Historic Properties, we have made it our mission to give back to the local community and
make Galveston a more desirable destination. Each year, Mitchell Historic Properties and The
Galveston Island Convention & Visitors Bureau have joined together to sponsor, host and promote
Movie & Music Nite. This year we are looking for partners that share the same desire to make
Galveston a better place, and we would greatly appreciate your support in 2020.

What Movie & Music Nite Offers:

During the 2019 Season, we successfully planned and hosted nine Movie Nites and eight Music Nites.
Our constant goal is not only to create a fun atmosphere for the downtown guest, but to also raise
awareness and attendance to the downtown businesses. Through advertising, social media and good
old fashioned word of mouth, we are anxiously looking forward to even greater success in the 2020
Season. The series starts in March and lasts until the end of October 2020.

Once again, we are offering the opportunity to sponsor a Movie and/or a Music Nite. Your sponsorship
will allow us to keep our free, family friendly events available for the guests of Downtown Galveston.
Our goal for 2020, is to host eight Movie Nites and eight Music Nites. Movie Nites are scheduled on
the first Saturday of each month. We begin the featured movie presentation at dusk, and of course, it
ends depending on the length of the movie. Typically, the movie is over by 9:00pm. The last Movie
Nite of the year is in October. Music Nite is every second Saturday. Music Nite begins at 6:00pm and
is usually over by 9:00pm.

Saengerfest Park is the hub for all the fun! The movies and the music bring people out to Downtown
Galveston. While they’re waiting on the festivities to begin, our Saengerfest guests wander the Strand.
Whether they are visiting shops, buying goodies, eating dinner before the show, or grabbing some
form of refreshment, Downtown Galveston has it all. With your support, we are able to grow this event.
Growing the event means we get to bring in bigger acts and help increase the amount of visitors and
awareness to Downtown Galveston. Increased visitors equals increased revenue! It’s a win-win!

Included with your Movie Nite Casablanca Sponsorship: $1,000

1. One dedicated Movie Nite, your logo on the movie screen before and after the
   movie. Emcee recognition of the sponsor all night. The choice of which date
   you receive is determined on a first come, first served basis.

2. Want to give out marketing literature or some branded freebies on your Movie
   Nite? We provide you with a tent, table and chairs for your representative(s)
   to give out your goodies at the event!

3. Your Logo is included in all online and social media advertisements
   (sponsored post).

4. Your Logo is included in Galveston Chamber of Commerce E- Blasts.

5. Your Logo is included on promotional flyers for your chosen Movie Nite.

6. Your Logo is also included on our Movie & Music Nite Posters that are posted
   and distributed around Galveston.

7. Your Logo is included on the US Backline.com local event calendar, MHP
   website & on our Saengerfest Park Facebook page. Our marketing guru is
   always updating the Saengerfest Park Facebook page with the latest and
   greatest news and events, also sending info out to Twitter and Instagram. We
   make sure your sponsored event has your Logo and name prominently
   displayed whenever your event is boosted.

Included with your Music Nite Rock Star Sponsorship: $1,000
1. One dedicated Music Nite and Emcee recognition all night during your
   sponsored Music Nite. The choice of band is determined on a first come, first
   served basis.

2. The opportunity to brand a tent during the Music Nite you sponsor. Want to
   hand out some marketing materials or branded giveaways? You show up with
   your stuff, we provide the tent, table and chairs!

3. Your Logo is included on all online and social media advertisement.

4. Your Logo is included in the Galveston Chamber of Commerce E-Blasts.
