2020 ACTIVITY SCHEDULE! May 1st-3rd Clean Up Weekend & Soup Pot Luck Dinner Welcome back PCL campers! Spring is in the air, which means it is time to pick up the leaves, dig out the camp chairs, and prepare your sites for this 2020 camping season. Enjoy your first weekend back with an evening catching up with your camp family and friends at our annual soup pot luck on Saturday afternoon! Bingo will be held Friday and Saturday night. May 8th-10th Mother’s Day Weekend What better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than camping as a family! Kids join us in making a special craft to give to your amazing moms! Moms join us Saturday for mimosas, coffee, and a canvas paint and sip class. Open Canvas Arts instructor, Mariah Hall, will be guiding this class, which costs $20 and includes all of the needed supplies. Advance sign-up will be required. Feel free to BYO snacks and drinks as well. Bingo will be held on Friday and Saturday. Sunday morning our staff will host a breakfast to show our appreciation for all the love and support we get from our camping moms! Moms eat for FREE. May 15th-17th Camper Appreciation Weekend We know PCL campers are the greatest and to show our appreciation we are offering 30% off RV sites, tent sites, cabin/cottage & golf cart rentals this weekend! Free pedal cart and boat rentals! Just a little way of saying THANK YOU for your continued support. Bingo will be held on both Friday and Saturday evenings. May 22nd-24th Memorial Day Weekend Who is ready to start off the summer with an activity-filled weekend including the official opening of our heated swimming pool and splash pad! Bring out your competitive spirit by participating in our ladder golf and washer board tournaments. In honor of Memorial Day, decorate your bikes and golf carts for our red, white, and blue parade that will proceed around our 18 acre lake. Join us for Bingo Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, and Candy Bar Bingo Monday morning!
May 29th-31st Hometown Heroes Weekend Hometown heroes (Police, Firefighters, EMT, Nurses and Military- ID required) get 20% off campsites, cabins, and/or cottages! Just our little way of saying THANK YOU! We will be honoring our hometown heros all weekend long! Write a brief description on what you do with a photo and email it to us at info@pclake.com to be honored on our Facebook page. Bingo will be held Friday & Saturday night. June 5th-7th Animal lovers weekend Love animals? We do too! Bring your furry friends and enjoy camping this weekend. The Ross Park ZooMobile will be here on Saturday! They will be bringing a variety of live animals for you to watch, learn about, and possibly even pet. There will be two 45 minute shows starting at 11:00 AM and then again at 12 PM. Both of the shows will be exactly the same. However, you must sign up in advance for a time slot. Bingo will be held on both Friday and Saturday evenings. June 12th-14th Outdoor Odyssey Saturday is national ‘Get Outdoors Day’ and what better way to celebrate the great outdoors than a camping trip! Kids connect with nature by joining in our scavenger hunt and nature craft. Open Canvas Arts instructor, Mariah Hall, will be hosting a DIY hand painted clay pot class.The class is $30 includes all of the needed supplies (acrylic paint, clay pots, plants, and potting soil). Advance sign-up will be required. Feel free to BYO snacks and drinks as well. Bingo Friday & Saturday. June 19th-21st Father’s Day Weekend Fishing is the REEL deal this weekend! Our annual fishing tournament will be held Saturday with prizes awarded for the largest catch! Everyone is welcome to participate in our dads vs kids kickball game. Gather the whole family to join us for breakfast Sunday made by our staff to show our appreciation for all of the amazing fathers out there. Dads eat for FREE. Bingo Friday and Saturday! June 26th-28th Redneck, white & blue Weekend Break out the denim, don’t worry about the mullet, and show us your redneck style while we challenge you in our blind folded golf cart races, watermelon eating contest, and horseshoe tournament. Be sure to stop by the office to pick your lucky number for a square in the infamous Cow Pie Bingo. We cannot wait for all of the excitement! Bingo will be held on both Friday and Saturday! July 3rd-5th Independence Day Weekend What better way to spend Independence Day than with your friends and family at Pine Cradle Lake? Join us for our annual Fourth of July festivities with a red, white, and blue golf cart parade, turtle races, and fireworks! Athletic or not, participate in our tournaments this weekend including washer boards and gaga ball. It would not be a weekend at Pine Cradle Lake without our weekly Bingo nights Friday and Saturday. Stock up on your favorite candy bars because Candy Bar Bingo will be held Monday morning as a SWEET way to end this holiday weekend.
July 10th-12th Fun with Foam & Water Wars Weekend I Prepare to get wet at this event! Bring your goggles, swimsuits, and water guns to this wet n’ wild party. We will start off the fun with a water gun and water balloon war! A foam pit party will take place after the battle with music and lots of foam! Whether actively participating or spectating, be ready for the wet and foamy fun. Bingo will be held both Friday and Saturday evenings. July 17th-19th PCL 500 Weekend Join us for a weekend of racing! Our staff and camp kids will design and build cardboard race cars. Make sure you pack shoes with LACES because drivers (that’s you) will finish 3 laps, while completing a task at each stop. 1st lap- Change of tires (shoes taken off and then put back on). 2nd lap- windshield clean (water splashed and then dried on the face). 3rd lap- fuel up (chug a mini water bottle). Make sure to bring your pit crew to help with the tasks after each lap. Bingo will be held both Friday and Saturday evenings. July 24th-26th Inflatable Fun Who doesn’t love inflatables? Bounce your way into this weekend for a fun time with friends and family. Saturday we will have fun inflatables for kids and adults! Try out the obstacle course or get your exercise in with the bounce house. Bingo will be held on both Friday and Saturday evenings. July 31st-August 2nd Rainbow Ramble Have you experienced a rainbow throw? Imagine a world so colorful that it turns you and your clothing into a real life rainbow! Similar to the color run without the run, wear white & join the fun! You won’t want to miss out on our color bomb battle led by DJ Justin! Bingo will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings. August 7th-9th Cardboard Boat Regatta Channel your inner shipwright skills and meet us at the lake for our annual boat regatta. Cardboard, paint, and duct tape are the ONLY materials permitted. Prizes will be awarded for the boats with the fastest time, most creative design, and most people in a boat without it sinking! No boat? No problem! Come and watch the participants impressively succeed or hysterically fail. All campers will enjoy this event and we cannot wait to experience it with you! Bingo Friday and Saturday evenings. August 21st-23rd Hawaiian Themed Pool Party Pack your favorite tropical shirts, leis, and grass skirts because we are having a pool party! Be prepared for our hula hoop contest or enjoy watching the kids limbo! Show off your best dance moves to the music entertainment by DJ Justin. We will have roasted pigs (hotdogs) and other assorted drinks and snacks for you and your family to enjoy. Bingo Friday and Saturday. August 28th-30th Glow in the Dark Weekend Let’s GLOW crazy this weekend! Pack all your glow-in-the-dark gear to decorate not only yourselves but also your golf-carts and bikes for Saturday’s parade! Join us in making glow-in-the-dark crafts to wear at our party Saturday afternoon. Meet us at the rec hall in your favorite bright apparel for a glow-in-the-dark party with DJ Justin! Bingo will be held on Friday and Saturday. September 4th-6th Labor Day Weekend Close out your summer with a weekend getaway to Pine Cradle Lake! Enjoy Labor Day weekend with your friends and family with our fun festivities. Search for great bargains or sell your own unused treasures during our campground wide yard sales. Participate in the washer board and ladder golf tournaments. Bingo will be held on Friday and Saturday. BINGORAMA, on Sunday! While everyone’s favorite, Candy Bar Bingo, will be held on Monday morning to close out this SWEET weekend. September 11th-13th Wine & Trivia Weekend Gather friends and families and help us kick off football season with a flag football game! You don't even have to leave the campground to enjoy tastings from our local Antler Ridge Winery to be held on Saturday evening. Stick around for the team trivia after the tasting! Bingo Friday and Saturday. September 18th-20th Fall-aholic Fall lovers will not want to miss out on this weekend’s festivities! Join us at our caramel apple bar where you can choose from a variety of toppings such as peanuts, graham cracker crumbs, crushed oreos, sprinkles, or mini chocolate chips! Get creative and take part in our campground wide scarecrow contest for your chance to win a PCL gift certificate! Ladies (and gents!) add to your fall decor collection by participating in a class led by Open Canvas Arts instructor Mariah Hall. Advance sign-up is required. Feel free to BYO snacks and drinks. Bingo Friday and Saturday. September 25th-27th Pumpkin palooza School’s back in session but the camping fun doesn't have to end! Kids camp at PCL this weekend and help us kick off the spooky season with pumpkin painting! After we will need your help in finding the lost pumpkins before Halloween in the Great Pumpkin Hunt! Campers make your favorite pumpkin flavored foods- were talking soups, desserts, dips, etc. and meet us at the rec hall for an afternoon of everything PUMPKIN! Bingo will be held on Friday and Saturday.
October 2nd-4th Spooktacular Halloweekend I Get a head start on Halloween festivities by camping with us during this spooktacular weekend. Decorate or carve a pumpkin and enter it in our contest for a chance to win a prize! Don’t forget your campsite decorations and candy in preparation for all those little ghosts and goblins to come around for trick or treating. Prizes will also be awarded to the best decorated sites! Take a stroll through our haunted trail, if you dare to be scared. Bingo will be held on Friday and Saturday. October 9th-12th Spooktacular Halloweekend II No better way to close out the camping season than with another spooktacular halloweekend! Decorate or carve a pumpkin and enter it in our contest for a chance to win a prize!
