2019 UWA Semester 1 Careers Fair Key Information Date Tuesday 12 March 2019 Location Winthrop Hall and Undercroft, The University of Western Australia Crawley Session Breakdown Careers Fair Exhibitor Arrival/Setup 8:30am to 9:45am Fair open to Students 10:00am to 2:00pm Exhibitor Pack down 2:00pm to 3:30pm Exhibitor Lunch Available 11:30am to 1:30pm Registration Key dates Registrations open: Wednesday September 26, 2018 Registrations close: Friday February 8, 2019 Please note the 2018 Careers Fair sold out prior to the registration close date. Event packages and pricing Careers Fair Early Bird Registration - 1 session $660 inc. GST until midday December 21, 2018 Careers Fair General Registration - 1 session $880 inc GST Careers Fair Government and Not for Profit Registration - 1 session $550 inc. GST Presentation during Careers Fair in University Club Theatre $220 inc. GST Careers Fair Sponsorship packages are available. As the 2019 Careers Fair was initially a two session event, packages have been altered from the original exhibitor guide. Cancellation policy: The Careers Centre offers the following conditions for cancellation of any registration for the 2019 Careers Fair: •• Cancellations received within 72 hours (3 business days) of registration - no charge will be encountered •• Cancellations after 72 hours (3 business days) of registration - no refund will be offered All cancellations must be made in writing. 2 The University of Western Australia
Careers Fair - Sessions 1 & 2 Our 5th annual Careers Fair will be held at our Perth Crawley •• Free Wifi access for 3 devices campus during Week 3 of Semester. •• 1 parking bay (if requested at time of registration) •• Power (if requested at time of registration) Location •• A5 profile in the online Careers Fair Guidebook Special early bird discounts are available when registrations The 2019 Careers Fair will be located inside Winthrop and are made before midday Friday December 21, 2018. Undercroft venues at The University of Western Australia close to the Octagon Theatre, Reid Library and Vice Chancellory and Government & Not for Profit Registration Cultural Precinct. $550 (inc. GST) Special government and Not for Profit registration packages Getting to UWA and Parking include: •• 2m x 2m indoor exhibition space Parking is available to exhibitors when requested during •• 1.6m table with tablecloth registration. The University of Western Australia has limited •• 2 x chairs parking outside bays already reserved for exhibitors. Where •• Up to 3 complimentary lunch packages; lunch room access, parking has not been requested, it is recommended exhibitors coffee/tea and water arrive by taxi or ride share service. The drop off point is the Cab •• Free Wifi access for 3 devices Spot located at the UWA Visitors Centre located at the top of •• 1 parking bay (if requested at time of registration) the UWA Campus entering at the main entrance. •• Power (if requested at time of registration) •• A5 profile in the online Careers Fair Guidebook Event Volunteers Event volunteers will be available to assist exhibitors to park, Careers Fair set up and pack down their exhibition space. Volunteers will be able to assist with unloading items from your vehicle and Presentations transporting items to your stand located within The University Club. There will be no allocation times for presentations with no presentation venue available in the Winthrop or Undercroft Event Timings venues. Each session will run to strict times as detailed below: Careers Fair Exhibitor Arrival/Setup 8:30am to 9:45am Fair open to Students 10:00am to 2:00pm Exhibitor Pack down 2:00pm to 3:30pm Exhibitor Lunch Available 11:30am to 1:30pm Lunch will be available between 11:30am and 1:30pm for all exhibitors. Careers Fair Packages There are multiple exhibition packages available for the Careers Fair as outlined below: Careers Fair General Registration $880 (inc.
