Royal Raid ROYAL RAID
11.05.19 - 14th Edition
Trail Set-up in 2006 it is the first trail run
of the history of Mauritius!
This fantastic event will lead you in the heart of the
south-west of the Island and makes you discover
unforgettable tropical sceneries.
Every year trail runners are all enjoying the
wonderful friendship atmosphere which prevails
before, all along and after the event!
The event consists of 3 races being held
simultaneously:
• Royal Raid 70 kms
• Royal Raid 37 kms
• Royal Raid 15 kms
Trailers will have the unique opportunity to discover
the following beautiful places - access to most of
them is given only to Royal Raid runners:
• Yemen and Heritage Nature Reserve
• Le Vieille Cheminée, Kamaya, Hermitage and
Bon Courage nature reserves at Chamarel
• The endemic fauna and flora of the Black
River National Park including its famous
Parakeet Trail

Heritage HERITAGE TRAIL

Trail
From South to South... breathtaking
sceneries and challenge, with an
exclusive finish on the beach!
Set-up in 2017 by our national champion Simon
Desvaux with the support of trail celebrity Eric
Lacroix, this trail has quickly established itself
as a key and major race. Another trail run in our
calendar not to miss!
The event consists of the following races being
held simultaneously:
• Southern Peaks Trail 55 kms, the main race
• Two other races of 22 kms and 10kms
respectively
• A family and kids event of 3 kms

Mauritius MAURITIUS MARATHON
14.07.19 - 10th Edition
Marathon A fantastic challenge which takes place in one of
the most beautiful part of Mauritius:
• 20 kms of coastal road in the south, along one of
the most beautiful lagoon of the Island
• Run through typical coastal villages
• Finish on the beach
It combines
sport challenge and discovery
of the south of Mauritius
in a very friendly atmosphere!
• Mauritius Marathon 42.195 kms
• Mauritius Half-Marathon 21.1 kms
• 10 kms of the Marathon
All above races are AIMS & IAAF Certified races.

Indian Ocean INDIAN OCEAN TRIATHLON
16.11.19 - 11th Edition
Triathlon
A great event which takes place in one of the most
beautiful region of the Island!
Some says that it is
“one of the most beautiful
triathlon in the world.”
Either you are an experimented triathlete or a
beginner who will participate in its first triathlon,
you can be sure that you will remember this race.
• The swimming event takes place in the
beautiful lagoon of Le Morne
• The cycling course includes the challenging
Chamarel Climb and its picturesque village,
the southern coastal road which goes
alongside magnificent lagoons and
through typical coastal villages
• The run is at Le Morne Peninsula
partly on the beach
• Finish and prize-giving on the beach!

MAURITIUS SURFSKI WEEK
Surfski week INVESTEC MAURITIUS OCEAN CLASSIC
24-30.06.19 - 11th Edition
and race
Mauritius Ocean Classic is a race which has
the title of ICF (International Canoe Federation)
WORLD CUP and which also forms part of the
World Surf Ski Series.
This race has established itself as
one of the best downwind courses
of the World Series.
This event is also a fantastic week of surf skiing
which should not be missed by paddlers:
• Downwinds in perfect conditions
• Team race in a very special format
• Free coaching from champions
• Friendly and warm atmosphere

the peak of the marlin season.
Situated on the west coast of the Island, sheltered
from the prevailing trade winds, Black River is the
perfect place for unforgettable deep-sea fishing
experiences!
JPH Charters founder of the event and our
tournament’s co-organizer is the No.1 in deep-sea
fishing in Mauritius, established since 1975.
This tournament is a FULL RELEASE
and the aim of the organizers is to
encourage this sustainable way of
sports fishing in Mauritius.
