About TennSpeed TennSpeed: The Ride for Education is Martha O’Bryan Center’s cycling fundraiser which brings together an incredible community of riders, volunteers, and supporters committed to the education of Nashville’s youth. On April 12, 2019, TennSpeed will feature a Friday evening registration and mission awareness dinner, with a non-competitive cycling event on the morning of Saturday, April 13, 2019. Approximately 300 riders, comprised of individuals and teams, will join together in fundraising efforts to raise $250,000 in revenue to support educational programming at Martha O’Bryan Center, focusing on pathways to post-secondary educational opportunities for Nashville students, from middle school through college. TennSpeed is not just another cycling event. It is an experience. Riders, committed to making a difference in the lives of young people, will tour through Williamson County, the Franklin and Thompson’s station area, at 20-mile, 30-mile, and 60-mile intervals. With efficient check-ins, high- quality food and beverage, entertainment, and comradery with neighbors who value high-quality educational opportunities for all, TennSpeed will position itself as one of Nashville’s premier fundraising events. Dedicated corporate sponsors will partner with TennSpeed to fund the event costs so that every dollar raised by committed riders will go to the cause.
