DREAM YACHT CHARTER 2018 MEDIA PACK OVERVIEW 2018 We are proud to have established our position as the world’s largest charter company with the most diverse fleet and widest destination choice in the market. We charter +1,000 yachts across +45 destinations, including the Caribbean, Bahamas, Asia, Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Americas and the Mediterranean. Asked to comment on our recent growth and developments over the last year following Hurricane Irma, Loïc Bonnet, founder of the world’s leading charter company, Dream Yacht Charter, said: “The Caribbean is an important destination for us and our customers. When you do business in the Caribbean, you need to respect Mother Nature as she is a great leveller, both literally and figuratively. “Last year was unprecedented and the Irma and Maria hurricanes had a devastating effect on our BVI and St. Martin fleets. It was difficult for our teams on the ground, as well as for the islanders we’ve got to know well and who rely on the charter industry for tourism. “Although parts of the Caribbean were severely damaged, we have a good network of bases spread throughout, so we could relocate customers quickly. Our clients have great affinity with the islands and we were perfectly positioned to accommodate the many sailors who still wanted to sail but in different parts of islands than originally planned, such as Grenada and the Bahamas. “We recovered our operations swiftly, re-opening last November through the relocation of our fleet, acquiring aligned companies and ordering new-builds. Today our fleet consists of more than 1,000 yachts and we’re now the world’s leading yacht company. We’re continuing to invest and renew our fleet to maintain our position as the marketing leader and this year alone we’re adding 200 new boats. “Customer confidence was slow to return for some of the hardest hit areas, although we were amazed at the loyalty shown by the diehard British Virgin Islands super-fans. We expect strong growth in the Caribbean for 2018/2019 and we’re committed to broadening the appeal of the Caribbean to those seeking adventure. We will continue to encourage non-sailors to explore outside of the resorts and sail with us to the smaller islands, helping their economic development. This is why we’re investing in even more ‘by the cabin’ charter boats and cabin routes. “As a demonstration to our commitment to the Caribbean we’ve continued to invest in the area with new bases and cabin routes, such as our new base in St. Lucia.”

He started out with just six boats in the Seychelles and welcomed the first customers in 2001. By 2010, the company had entered the Caribbean, Asia, the Pacific and the Mediterranean. In the next three years, Dream Yacht Charter launched in the Bahamas, Annapolis, Antigua and expanded in the Grenadines. Since then, Bali, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, Italy, Sweden and Montenegro have joined our list of exciting destinations. We pioneered by the cabin charters with guaranteed departures and we now offer +25 routes across +15 destinations. We strive for constant innovation, bringing new sailing grounds to market, such as New Caledonia and Cuba. We’ve also introduced six ownership programs for potential yacht owners who want flexible options that suit their objectives. We offer the lowest entry price on the market. Today Dream Yacht Charter has grown to become the world’s largest charter company with +1,000 yachts in +45 destinations worldwide.
