Gardens Gone WildThis spirit and the feeling the work imparts to the viewer is the hallmark of an Ostermiller sculpture. The Sculpture of Dan Ostermiller Coming this summer to the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens!
About the Artist: A native of Cheyenne, Wyoming Dan Ostermiller has been based in Loveland, Colorado for over forty years and was given his first solo exhibition in 198O. He has been a primary driver of Loveland’s active sculpture scene, where over 2OO sculptors reside, and over 3OO other artisans are employed. Generous by nature, committed to fostering other artists and the sculpture field as a whole, Ostermiller is a member of the Society of Animal Artists and Allied Artists of America. He is a fellow and served as First Vice-President of the National Sculpture Society. His award-winning works have been honored with many solo exhibitions around the U.S. and beyond and are held within the permanent collections of major museums. Events at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens: Sculpture Exhibition throughout the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens June through August 2O19 Workshop with the Artist - details and date coming soon! This is an opportunity to learn the art and science behind bronze sculpting. Artist’s Reception - Date and ticket sales coming soon! Meet Dan and talk with him about his work under the backdrop of the beautiful Cheyenne Botanic Gardens grounds. A limited number of tickets will be sold to this exclusive event.
