Designed and maintained by DTR Associates, Inc., our gardens are a destination in themselves. Our Napa inspired tasting room is a beautifully decorated, casual yet elegant indoor sharing space. The smell of delicious food, the sound of wine glasses toasting a special occasion, the beautiful garden views from every table and the unique open air feeling to our twinkle covered walled and covered outdoor terrace sets the tone for all of the other interior and exterior spaces that are part of the unique aesthetic journey found at ThornCreek. THORNCREEK POLICIES SITE INSPECTION All areas rented at ThornCreek Winery & Gardens must be left in the same condition as before the event. At the conclusion of the event, a site inspection performed by the on-site manager will be completed to check for any damage to our property. Any damage to ThornCreek Winery & Garden’s property will result in additional charges to the guest. PROVISIONS • A signed copy of this contract is mandatory to reser ve a date for your event. • A Non- Refundable Deposit equal to the amount of the facility rental is required to reser ve a date for an event. • ThornCreek facility management, bar ser vice, non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages, rental fees and labor charges are due as outlined in the Payment Schedule section of this document. Acceptable forms of payment include: Cash, Check or Major Credit Card. • All special events include coordination with one of our Preferred Catering Companies and the Rental Company. BE VERAGE SELECTIONS AND BE VERAGE POLICIES • Prices for wine, beer and liquor are subject to change. • ThornCreek Winery alcohol policy allows for alcoholic ser vice to guests 21 years of age or older, when presenting proper identif ication. • The selection of wine, beer, and alcoholic beverages must be made one month in advance of the event. • All beverages must be purchased through ThornCreek Winery & Gardens. • All beverages including but not limited to Wine, Beer, Liquor and all Non-Alcoholic Beverages are subject to 20% gratuity and 7.25% Sales Tax.

Each champagne f lute garnished with a whole strawberry. LIQUOR SELECTIONS (OPTIONAL) Events offering liquor will include a mixer package of: Club Soda, Tonic, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Ginger Ale, Orange Juice and Cranberry Juice. BEER SELECTIONS (OPTIONAL) THORNCREEK HOUSE BEER SELECTIONS I NCLUDE Standard Domestic Package: Bud Light, Blue Moon and Miller Lite Craft/ Imported Package: Great Lakes Dortmunder, Brew Kettle and Seasonal Selection Events offering beer and liquor will be charged for products based on consumption. We are also happy to customize your event with your special beer and liquor brand requests. Special selections are based on availability. If a special order is made that is not a ThornCreek House offering, the guests must guarantee the purchase of the entire order at prevailing rates. Minimum purchases will apply to all special orders. NON-ALCOHOLIC BE VERAGE PACK AGE (REQUIRED) A non-alcoholic beverage ser vice applies to every event and will be charged based on the number of attendees for the event at $2.50 per person, plus 20% Gratuity and 7.25% Sales Tax. FACILIT Y RENTAL FEES PER SPACE Guests may request to arrive on property for photographs up to 2 hours in advance of the ceremony. Additional staff ing charges for those hours will apply, and the guest must have prior written approval from a ThornCreek representative. All guests will be subjected to the following facility rental fees based on 6 hours. Additional Rental Hour for any space is $500 per hour. Guest is responsible for all staff ing charges for additional hours. VENUE / BAR STAFFI NG CHARGES (REQU I RED) ThornCreek will provide Event Managers, Bartenders and Support Staff. The Guest agrees to the following charges for staff: • Event Manager: $35 per hour • Bartender / Support Staff: $25 per hour The Guest agrees that a minimum of 6 hours per staff member will be charged for the event. All staff members will be compensated for the set-up time, event duration and clean-up time for the event. ENTI RE PROPERT Y: $10,000 VAULTED GARDEN BALLROOM: $5,000 • Holds up to 225 Guests • Holds up to 200 Guests • Other rentals available to accommodate events exceeding 225 • Includes: Tasting Room, Stacked Stone Perennial Garden, guests Culinary Garden and Fountain Garden • Includes: Tasting Room, All Gardens, Tented Secret Garden, • Ceremony time: 5:00 p.m. or later Covered Pergola Pathway and Aging Cellar if open during peak wine making periods as required for wine production needs of the business. *May through October
SECRE T TENTED WATERFALL GARDEN ON LY: $5,000 • Accommodates 225 guests • Other rentals available to accommodate events exceeding 225 guests • Includes: Covered Tent, Covered Pergola Pathway, Stone Dance Floor, Custom Star-like Lighting, Cocktail Garden, Waterfall and Babbling Brook, Easy Caterer Access • Ceremony time: 4:00 p.m. or earlier. All guests must be transitioned to the reception area by 5:00 p.m. INTIMATE GATHERING PL ACES All guests will be subjected to the following facility rental fees based on 3 hours. Additional Rental Hour for any space is $100 per hour. Guest is responsible for all staff ing charges for additional hours. VENUE / BAR STAFFI NG CHARGES (REQU I RED) ThornCreek will provide Event Managers, Bartenders and Support Staff. CEREMON Y ON LY FEE: $1,200 ON-SITE PHOTOGRAPH Y FEE: $350 • Holds up to 250 Guests (Seated) • Includes: Two Consecutive Hours, Full use of Gardens and • Includes: E xpansive “Open-Air” lawn space, Marriage Arbor and Facility and Aging Cellar, which might be closed during peak Bridal Path wine making periods as required for wine production needs of the business • Discounted rate of $350.00 will apply to events that include both the reception and the ceremony VALE T PARKING (REQUIRED) All events will be subject to charges for valet parking. The following fee schedule will apply: • $275 for 1 to 50 Guests • $315 for 51 to 100 Guests • $450 for 101 to 200 Guests • $525 for 201 to 300 Guests
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OHIO BE VERAGE AND DRUG L AWS Ohio State laws concerning underage consumption of alcohol will be adhered to and enforced. We reser ve the right to refuse ser vice to any guest who cannot present proper identif ication, or who is deemed intoxicated. The taking or distribution of illegal drugs or paraphernalia on the premises will result in a non-refunded site fee, and the violators will be asked to leave the property. BRE AK AGE AND DAMAGE Guest is responsible for any breakage of supplied items, or any damage to the contents, physical structures, or gardens of ThornCreek Winery & Gardens. ThornCreek is not responsible for damage or loss of items including but not limited to gifts, card box, equipment and/or personal items belonging to the guest and or invitees or independent contractor. NON-SMOKING FACILIT Y Smoking is strictly prohibited at our facility except for the designated area located near the Tasting Room entrance. Receptacles are provided in designated smoking area only. A $250 cigarette butt clean-up fee will be assessed for any clean up required in non-designated smoking areas. SOUND MONITORING ThornCreek reser ves the right to require guest to cease using any music deemed inappropriate and retains the right to reduce volume at any time. ThornCreek retains the right to stop music at the specif ic end time as controlled by the City of Aurora’s noise ordinance. GUARANTEED GUEST COUNT All guests must submit a guaranteed count of attendees two weeks prior to the event. This will set the charges for the event. No cancellation of ser vices or reduction of guest count may be made after the guarantee is provided. Additional charges will apply when necessary to guest counts that are greater than the original guaranteed count.
VENDORS Guests are responsible for providing the ThornCreek Winery & Gardens Events Department with a list of vendors that are contracted for their event, along with contact information. ThornCreek will assume the responsibility of coordinating the schedule for all deliveries, pick-up and set-up times. PAYMENT SCHEDULE AT CONTRACT SIGN I NG One Hundred percent (100%) of the Facility Rental fee is due in full at contract signing and acts as a non-refundable deposit to secure the event date. 90 DAYS PRIOR TO TH E E VENT A Deposit of Fifty Percent (50%) of the ser vice and consumables estimate plus 20% gratuity and tax shall be due and be non-refundable. AT TH E CONCLUSION OF TH E E VENT The balance of all charges including, but not be limited to, all remaining consumables, ser vice, tax and gratuities shall be due. Guest agrees and understands that the f inal bill will vary from the proposed estimate as the f inal bill is a ref lection of the actual ser vice hours worked and all f inal event consumables and charges. Cash, Check, or Major Credit Card are acceptable forms of payment. Any check retuned for non-suff icient funds will incur all applicable fees/charges that ThornCreek faces as a result of the insuff icient funds. Any amounts not paid to ThornCreek Winery when due may accrue interest after the date of such payment at a rate of 18% per annum. Guest will be responsible for any and all costs and expenses incurred by ThornCreek Winery in the collection of any amounts due from the guest; including but not limited to attorney fees, court costs and related expenses. In the event that the Guest /Signee of this contract fail to make a scheduled payment, ThornCreek at its option may cancel this contract.
SALES TA X AND GRATUIT Y All consumables are subject to a 7.25% sales tax. 20% Gratuity will be added to the f inal bill on all consumables. CANCELL ATION POLICY All Cancellations must be received in writing. FROM SIGN I NG OF TH E CONTRACT TO 90 DAYS PRIOR TO TH E E VENT Forfeit of the Facility Rental Fee/Deposit. FROM 90 DAYS TO 15 DAYS PRIOR TO TH E E VENT Forfeit the Facility Rental Fee/Deposit. Forfeit of the 50% Consumables, ser vice, tax and gratuity deposit. FROM 14 DAYS TO 0 DAYS PRIOR TO TH E E VENT Forfeit of the Facility Rental Fee/Deposit. Payment Due and Forfeit of the 100% Consumables, ser vice, tax and gratuity deposit. ACTS OF GOD ThornCreek winery shall not be held liable for non-performance of this Agreement when said non-performance is attributed to Acts of Gods including but not limited to f ires, tornados, f lash f loods, national emergencies and other causes whether listed herein or not, which are beyond the reasonable control of ThornCreek Winery.
