  Psalm 37

INVOCATION
All Creatures of Our God and King (Hymn #115)
All creatures of our God and King, And all ye men of tender heart,
Lift up your voice and with us sing Forgiving others take your part,
Alleluia, alleluia! O sing ye, alleluia!
Thou burning sun with golden beam, Ye who long pain and sorrow bear,
Thou silver moon with softer gleam, Praise God and on him cast your care,
O praise him, O praise him, O praise him, O praise him,
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia! Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

Thou rushing wind that art so strong, Let all things their creator bless,
Ye clouds that sail in heav’n along, And worship him in humbleness,
O praise him, alleluia! O praise him! Alleluia!
Thou rising morn in praise rejoice, Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son,
Ye lights of evening, find a voice, And praise the Spirit, three in one,
O praise him, O praise him, O praise him, O praise him,
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia! Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

CONFESSION OF SIN
  Holy God, Lord most gracious!
Rebuke us not in your anger, nor chasten us in your wrath!
Holy you have called us to come to you.
We feel unworthy, for we have failed you again and again.
We feel like running away, yet you keep calling us.
Have mercy on us, O God.
  Have mercy!
  Holy God, Father most gracious!
Rebuke us not in your anger, nor chasten us in your wrath!
Heal us from our sin, for we are troubled.
Deliver us for the sake of your steadfast love.
Our sins trouble us, O God.
We are troubled by how they have hurt others.
We are troubled by how they have hurt us.
Your ways are right! O righteous God!
And whenever we have refused to follow them
we have found out how right they are.
Have mercy on us, O God.
Holy God, God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
have mercy on us for the sake of your Son,
who died to free us from our sins.
To you be honor and glory! Amen.

Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery

Come behold the wondrous mystery See the price of our redemption
In the dawning of the King See the Father’s plan unfold
He the theme of heaven’s praises Bringing many sons to glory
Robed in frail humanity Grace unmeasured, love untold

In our longing, in our darkness Come behold the wondrous mystery
Now the light of life has come Slain by death the God of life
Look to Christ, who condescended But no grave could e’er restrain Him
Took on flesh to ransom us Praise the Lord; He is alive!

Come behold the wondrous mystery What a foretaste of deliverance
He the perfect Son of Man How unwavering our hope
In His living, in His suffering Christ in power resurrected
Never trace nor stain of sin As we will be when he comes

See the true and better Adam What a foretaste of deliverance
Come to save the hell-bound man How unwavering our hope
Christ the great and sure fulfillment Christ in power resurrected
Of the law; in Him we stand As we will be when he comes

Heal Us
Chorus: She, too, who touched you in the press
Heal us, Emmanuel, here we are And healing virtue stole,
We long to feel Thy Touch Was answered,
  Deep wounded souls to Thee we fly         "Daughter, go in peace;
O Savior hear our cry Thy faith has made thee whole."

THE LORD’S SUPPER

On Jordan’s Stormy Banks

On Jordan’s stormy banks I stand, I am bound (women echo),
and cast a wishful eye I am bound (women echo),
To Canaan’s fair and happy land, I am bound for the promised land.
  where my possessions lie.
All o’er those wide extended plains, I am bound (women echo),
shines one eternal day I am bound (women echo),
There God, the Son forever reigns, I am bound for the promised land.
  and scatters night away.
When shall I reach that happy
I am bound (women echo), place, and be forever blest
I am bound (women echo), When shall I see my Father’s face,
I am bound for the promised land. and in his bosom rest.

                                            I am bound (women echo),
  I am bound (women echo),
                                            I am bound (women echo),
  I am bound (women echo),
I am bound for the promised land.
I am bound for the promised land.

No chilling winds nor poisonous breath, I am bound (women echo),
can reach that healthful shore, I am bound (women echo),
Sickness, sorrow, pain and death, I am bound for the promised land.
are felt and feared no more. (repeat)

you are not plugged into a home group, you can contribute
your own basket. We ask that home group leaders and those
participating individually to let Anna, anna@gracekg.com,

Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper
The Lord’s Supper is a visible representation of the gospel to us. By it, Christ’s death is
shown to us, and we are strengthened in our faith. As bread was used in the Lord’s
Supper to show forth Christ’s body, wine was used to show forth His blood. If, for reasons
of conscience or health, you choose not to use wine, grape juice is provided in the outer
ring of the tray. We invite those who are not taking the Lord’s Supper to consider the
prayers that are found on the back of this insert.

For those with a food intolerance, there is a small bowl inside the basket of communion
bread. The ingredients are: almond flour, eggs, grape seed oil, salt, rosemary and thyme.

PRAYERS FOR THOSE NOT COMMUNING
Prayer for Those Searching for Truth. Lord Jesus, You claim to be the Way, the Truth, and
the Life. Grant that I might be unafraid of the cost of following You as I consider the
reasons for doing so. If what You claim is true, please guide me, teach me, and open
me to the reality of who You are. Give me an understanding of You that is coherent and
convincing, and that leads to the life You promise. Amen.

Prayer of Belief. Lord Jesus Christ, I admit that I am weaker and more sinful than I ever
dared admit, but through You, I am more loved and accepted than I ever dared hope.
I thank You for paying my debt on the cross, and for taking what I deserved in order to
offer me complete forgiveness. Knowing that You have been raised from the dead, I
turn from my sins and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Amen.

Prayer for Those Struggling with Sin. Lord Jesus, grant that I may see in You the fulfillment
of all my need, and may turn from every false satisfaction to feed on You, the true and
living bread. Enable me to lay aside the sin that clings so closely, and run with
perseverance the race set before me, looking to You, the pioneer and perfecter of my
faith. Amen
