We pray that God blesses you in many ways through our worship time. We invite you to join with us afterwards for a chat, a cuppa and a bite to eat. If you would like to discuss anything, including joining us, please contact Pastor Richard 0418 303 406 or pastor@stpaulssydney.org Donate to Visit our St Paul’s web page 23 June – Who is God really? Father Almighty Creator Isaiah 40:28-31; Psalm 104:24-31; 1 John 3:1-3; Luke 15:11-32 30 June – Pentecost 3: The cost of following Jesus 1 Kings 19:15-21; Psalm 16; Galatians 5:1, 13-25; Luke 9:51-62 Everyday Faith This week we look at the First Part of our series Who is God, really? We are diving deeper into the idea that God is both the Almighty Creator of everything and also our loving Heavenly Father. One way to understand this is God has both a big picture focus and at the same times is also interested in us personally. When we have both of these understandings of God on our mind, it affects dramatically our relationship with God. Every time we pray, every time we engage with Him through His Word, every time we wait for God to help us see His answers, we can be sure that God has not only the power to do what is needed, but also will do what is best for us and others. And if God is our loving heavenly Father and we are His children, as 1 John 3 states, when we take notice of who God is and how He goes about life, we will reflect God and His love as we live, so others will experience Him through us. Take some time this week to think about what it means for God to be the Almighty Creator, who is also Your loving Heavenly Father.

New Logo for St Paul’s Sydney Lutheran Church We have a new logo to assist us in our identity as St Paul’s Sydney Lutheran Church. The logo highlights that our focus is being Christ’s church in Sydney. The colours red and blue were chosen to connect to the LCA’s logo, which uses the same colours. We will also be using the name St Paul’s Sydney Lutheran Church, rather than St Paul’s Lutheran Church Sydney as it assists people in finding us in internet searches.
