JOIN US IN PORTUGAL! Join Darya and her team of speakers for an exclusive retreat in Portugal in one of it’s most picturesque parts of it - Sintra. During our four day gathering full of inspiration you will be creating beautiful imagery, learning how to look at things in a different way, discovering the beauty of shooting film, building a new portfolio, taking your business to the new level, finding out how to work with other vendors of the industry, learning more about how to get published on international blogs&magazines and many more. This workshop includes curated in detail styled shoots, intensive classroom and one-to-one evaluation time. We want to make this experience to be a life changing point for your art.
WHAT MAKES THIS WORKSHOP UNIQUE? First of all the fact that Darya is not only a film photographer, she is also a well known blogger and social media influencer with a followers base of 200K. You will have a chance to learn from her not only everything about photography, but also all about improving your skills on blogging, you will learn how to build your social presence on the web, how to make a perfect submission for blogs and magazines. Also it is important to mention that on this workshop you will learn a lot from other vendors: all about LAB and film, all about florals, perfect make up for the shoot and collaboration between the photographer and other vendors. And last but not least, YOU will be able to be a speaker too! Do you have something unique to tell? We all will live together and in the evenings we will have a chance to sit all together and to talk about all the aspects that you are interested in. Excited? YOU WILL MEET:
Darya is a fine art film photographer (www.thecablookfotolab.com) living in Italy and shooting destination
weddings, couple sessions, fashion lookbooks and editorials everywhere in Europe and
worldwide. Having master in interior design she cares a lot about every small detail and it also gives her
a unique sense of composition, colour and balance. Darya is also an author of world famous
fashion&lifestyle blog (www.thecablook.com) and this experience lets her building a strong relationship on
socials. Also having a long modelling experience and a clear understanding of how it feels being on the
other side of lens helps her working with couples in a right way. Darya believes in the magic of film and
in luminous&timeless photography. Her works have been published in world famous magazines and blogs

Albert is one of the founders of the Spanish film lab “Carmencita”. Thanks to him and his hard work a lot
of photographers fell in love with film again and are able to obtain high quality results. Albert worked in
the US for six months, and after his return to Barcelona he was very inspired of everything he saw and
learned there. At the same time he met Miguel, who bought the scanner, and just wanted to do
something special. So Carmencita was born. Since there a lot of hard work was done, but, as Albert says,
all the difficulties worth it when we see how the increased quality of the photos and how many of them
are now shoot on film.
Brancoprata is a Floral & Event Design and Photography Studio, specialized in weddings and events,
available worldwide. They had since designed and photographed over 300 weddings and editorials
everywhere in the world from Portugal to France, from Italy to New Zealand.
Their work has been featured on numerous blogs and magazines such as Style Me Pretty, Magnolia
Rouge, Wedding Sparrow, Belle Lumière, 100 Layer Cake, Green Wedding Shoes, Ruffled, Elizabeth Anne
Designs and many more. With a cutting edge aesthetic, Brancoprata's mission is to create distinctive,
evocative and memorable events, always keeping in mind that changes are a natural part of the design
process. They love natural light and incredible scenery and their approach combines documentary and
fine art styles.YOU WILL MEET: During her 10 year long career Lidija (www.malinovskaja.com) has undertook all possible roles in creating, perfecting, decimating, motivating, educating in the Beauty Industry. She is the current beauty editor in Iluguru Magazine and columnist on Fashionstep. Her make-up works can be found regularly in print and online in Wedding Sparrow, Style Me Pretty, Wedding Vibes and other wedding blogs. Lidija practices a very technical and sophisticated approach in her work and speech which helped promote her to a regular at live-TV programs and Radio shows. Her background in modeling and professional photography allows her to grasp subtle important details from multiple perspectives, translate the "wants" to "needs" during a photoshoot and maintain a healthy balance between the photographer his crew and the client. She will bring and share her professional tricks and tips, educate her audience in technical aspects of make-up, teach you how to bridge your professional vision, what your clients wish to see and what is possible. Katherine Braylovska is the Founder and Lead Planner for Wedding Blues agency based in Moscow and London. With 8 years of experience in the event world, she has planned and overseen some of the most elaborate installations, weddings and corporate events. Katherine developed and produced creative concepts for their clients. She loves to embrace her client's stories and personalities as her muse to create artful events. Weddings and events has been featured on Vogue, Wedding magazine, Wedding Sparrow, Magnolia Rouge and on other blogs.
STYLED SHOOTS There will be 4 days full of perfectly styled shoots during the workshop. We will create for you engagement, boudoir, bridal, wedding and lifestyle shoots with bride and groom models. All shoots will be styled with incredible details, flowers, stationary, designer gowns and many more.

FAQ: WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE? The workshop is all-inclusive and includes transfer from/to Sintra, 3 nights stay on the villa, 3 dinners, 3 lunches and 3 breakfasts; classroom time with Darya and other speakers; one-to-one portfolio and branding reviews; 3 or more styled shoots; headshots by Darya of all the attendees; post workshop 1 hour Skype session with Darya review your scans or updated portfolio. IS THE WORKSHOP SUPPOSED ONLY FOR FILM PHOTOGRAPHERS? OR CAN DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHERS ALSO COME? If you are a digital photographer who wish to start shooting film so absolutely yes you can come! You will receive a lot of useful information about shooting film, we also advice you to borrow/rent a film camera for the days of the workshop and to bring it with you so that you can try and see what is shooting film! P.S.: yes, you can come also only with a digital camera, but if so, please keep in mind that you’ll have to respect film shooters as they have another speed of shooting, you should remember that film is more delicate and every shoot is unique. CAN NON-WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS COME? Absolutely YES! We will also have a lifestyle shoot and a portrait shoot. Also if you are thinking of starting to shoot weddings, the workshop will be more then useful for you! HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE ATTENDING? We have a limited amount of seats: 15. This is made in order to provide enough time to shoot for every photographer and also to have a long enough one-to-one review. CAN I SUBMIT PHOTOS FROM THE SHOOT? Yes you are welcome to submit photographs from all the styled shoots after Darya’s photographs have been featured. Also when publishing photographs from the workshop, you have to credit all the vendors involved (the list will be provided at the workshop)
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE WORKSHOP? Please bring a camera with you and backup equipment (if you have one). Also please don’t forget to bring warm clothes for the evening and a rain coat for you and your camera (who can predict the weather? It’s better to be prepared for everything!). Also please have a cocktail dress with you for the farewell dinner. CAN I BRING MY PORTFOLIO WITH ME? Sure! You will have a special one-to-one session with Darya where you can review and discuss it! WHICH CAMERA SHOULD I BRING TO THE WORKSHOP? You can bring with you a camera that you are already familiar to or you can bring a new camera and try it on the workshop! It really depends on you!
