MARCH 31, 2019 FOURTH SUNDAY OF LENT - LAETARE SUNDAY WOMEN’S CLUB APRIL MEETING All women of the parish are welcome to join us on Monday, April 8, in McDonough Hall for an evening of fun as we enjoy a dinner catered by Carol Parks Catering and then have Heidi Harrington speak to us about the Lucy Guild Ministry. She will also show us how to make a flower arrangement and give us some useful tips. Come spend time with old friends and hopefully make some new friends too! Dinner is $10 per person. LENT Friday Fish Buffet and Movie Night! Holy Spirit’s popular Fish Frys are every Friday during Lent. This year we will be returning to a buffet style service and reducing prices. “To Go” orders are still available beginning at 5:00 p.m., and dinner will be served in McDonough Hall from 5:45 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Please RSVP on the parish website so the Knights know how many diners to expect. FAITH IN ACTION As we approach the Spring with all the portent of renewal, we thought it would also be a good time to replenish the shelves of the Food Pantry at Centro Católico. Please place your bags in one of the Centro barrels Ǧ in the Narthex, or at the entrance to McDonough Hall, or inside the first set of double doors at the entrance to HSCC Preschool. Some of Mexican staples and personal care items sought include: Food Items: Dried beans (pinto beans, black beans, chick peas), lentils, white rice, canned fruit (peaches), sugar, maseca (corn flour), vegetable oil (less than 1 quart), cereal (oatmeal & boxed cereal).
