More than 60 representatives from Ridley District Scouts, Australian Navy Cadets, St John Cadets and Playford District Girl Guides participated in the youth-focussed Overnight Vigil. These dedicated young people guarded the memorial until the commencement of the Dawn Service at 6am. I now know he was spot on.” A key aspect of the course is the weekly combination of theory and practical placement, giving students the chance to understand the fundamentals and then apply them in a real-life environment. With the demand for quality childcare increasing across the country, skills and recognised qualifications in this growing industry are not only highly sought after, but are wonderfully transferable, not just in Australia but across the globe.
