Essential information We want to make your Graduation and Awards Ceremony a memorable occasion. To help us to do this, we need you to read the following information and take appropriate action. Getting here... Chester is within easy reach Chester of major road and rail links, and is easily accessible from all regions of the UK. By Road Chester is well linked to the motorway network via the M6, the M53 & the M56 which all run through Cheshire. Please note Park and Ride car parks are locked when not in use. Please observe closing times. For Blue Badge Holders: Cars displaying the blue badge may park for up to 4 hours free of charge at any council car park. Virgin Trains operate regular services to Chester from London, Birmingham and Scotland. Getting around... Once you have arrived in Chester, you will find it easy to find your way around the city centre, and to get out and about to many of the surrounding attractions. For a sightseeing experience, the City Sightseeing services runs open top tours around the city centre.
