Recreation & fitness GUIDE - Recreation & Fitness Activities for Every Age & Skill Level - City of St. Albert
Welcome
Spring and summer bring green spaces and longer days
to play and be active outdoors. It’s a great time to enjoy
more recreation and fitness activities in St. Albert’s
plentiful parks and trails.
One of the best ways to improve your health, mood,
quality of life and community is to be active. The City
of St. Albert’s recreation and parks department plays
a major role in creating and delivering recreation and
fitness activities to help shape and strengthen your life.
In this issue, you’ll find ideas that are no cost, low cost,
or fee-based to keep active, healthy and happy. Take
a stroll through what an active day could include for
families, youth and seniors.
You’ll find information on the numerous spring and
summer registered programs and summer camps.
There’s information on new programs like the yoga
workshop for you and your teenager and Stag(Ette)
Sweat where bridal parties choreograph any song
to dance to at the wedding. There are also many
spontaneous activities that don’t require any
pre-planning or registration.
If you’re planning a birthday party, looking for ideas
to stay active on rainy days, or wanting to book space,
there is information on the City’s indoor recreation
facilities as well.
With hundreds of registered programs and drop-in
classes, more than 99 kilometers of trails, over 110
parks and 77 playgrounds throughout the city, there
truly is something for everyone.

                                                                        Tell us what you think
It’s time to get out exploring and We’d like to know what
