CANCELLATION POLICY If cancelling before the program’s coaches meeting OR before the activity start date (whichever comes first), you will receive an 80% credit (per participant per program) on your Parks and Recreation account. NO credit will be given for a cancellation after these dates. If cancelling because you are moving out of the area or your child has a medical problem, you will receive a prorated refund up to 50%. If the Parks and Recreation Department cancels a program, you will receive a 100% refund or a prorated refund if the program has already begun. All refunds are issued in the form of a check and processed once a month. Gift Certificates Gift Certificates are available at the Life Fitness Center, Palmer Hills Golf Course, Splash Landing, and the Palmer Grill Restaurant. “Do you think going to the Fitness Center is doing “Maybe it was all that walking at the gym.” Each one of them me any good?” I have asked my husband that question many said, “That’s it!!!” times. Join our Fitness Class BODY ROCK: This is not your ordinary sculpting class. Pump it up in this group strength training class that incorporates dumbbells, resistance bands, and stability balls into a great workout! (All levels) PILATES PLUS: Pilates-based mat exercise class is designed to lengthen and strengthen your entire body using your core muscles. Pilates will help you improve your posture, balance, and flexibility. Classes are offered for all ability levels. Watch for introductory workshops, too! (All levels) FITNESS COMBO: This is a great class for beginners, those getting back into fitness, and anyone wanting a variety of cardio, strength, and flexibility all in one class. ACTIVITIES Registration Begins August 13th LITTLE KICKERS INDOOR SOCCER CLINICS Let’s get those Rec reversible jersey is required. All participants will receive feet moving! This very special dance for people with disabilities will be held on Friday, September 14th, 2018, from 6:00 – 8:30 pm at Veterans Memorial Park in Bettendorf. SENIOR GOLF CART TOUR Enjoy this wonderfully relaxing scenic tour of Bettendorf’s parks and trails as you caravan along in golf carts. The tour begins at Palmer Hills Golf Course and lasts approximately 2 hours. This spring and fall event is hugely popular and has two tour times: 10:00am and 1:30pm.
