Welcome to our new look Kirklees Town Halls Event Brochure The Autumn 2018 programme is packed full of exciting shows and performances, showcasing both the wide range of local talent and some of the biggest and best names in live music, comedy and entertainment. It’s our biggest ever season, so to celebrate we have relaunched our Event Brochure to allow every event it’s moment to shine. We’ve also changed the format so that performances are now listed by genre rather than by venue. We’ve also added a simple ‘at a glance’ section at the back of the brochure. WHAT’S ON We are delighted to welcome back live music favourites Kate Rusby and Elkie Brooks, as well as some of the ultimate tribute acts. This season we are also hosting hilarious evenings of comedy and KIRKLEES conversation at Cleckheaton Town Hall with Billy Pearce, Jeremy Hardy, Henry Blofeld and Ned Boulting. TOWN HALLS Our Kirklees Concert Season starts in September with stirring performances by the Orchestra of Opera North and rousing orchestras and amateur dramatics lunchtime chamber and organ concerts societies. We are also delighted that the at both Huddersfield and Dewsbury Town internationally renowned Huddersfield Halls. Contemporary Music Festival returns in November.
