5:30pm - 7:30pm Cacao Ceremony, gentle Kundalini yoga and short gong bath

We will open the weekend with a sacred cacao ceremony including intention-setting
and heart-centred meditation, bringing us to a place of profound awareness and
openness. From this space we will utilise a variety of breathwork, movement and
sound through the practice of Kundalini yoga. This will be gentle seated practice
providing the space and tools to go even deeper within, allowing a opening and
                  expansion from the heart.

A little bit about cacao …

Ceremonial cacao is a plant medicine that originated in the ancient culture of the
Mayans in central America. It is densely packed with nutrients and contains
neurotransmitters and chemical compounds (including theobromine and
anandamine, or the ‘bliss molecule’) that generate enhanced awareness, open
heartedness and intensified sensory experience, an ideal accompaniment to spiritual
practice. The cacao we will be using has been grown here in Mission Beach by
                  Charleys Chocolate.

7:30pm Free time to enjoy dinner at BUKO restaurant or explore Mission Beach Village which
is only a 5 minute walk away.

About your practitioners

           Kellie from Ishwarpreet Yoga

I'm Kellie, a long term practitioner of Kundalini Yoga and this practice has had such a
deeply transformative impact on her life that I felt compelled to share it. I completed
my teacher training in 2017 and what a beautiful journey it has been since then to
witness the impact of this practice helping so many others.

My approach to Kundalini Yoga is to share it in a way that makes it accessible to
everyone. What interests me and what I like to share is how we can use this practice
to break ourselves open a bit more than we were yesterday, so that we can show up in
a more authentic way in the world. In my classes you will be challenged to open your
hearts a little bit more, to connect with stillness for a little bit longer, to breathe
through the discomfort of that feeling you might have buried just that little bit deeper.
For me, it's not about being more flexible, stronger, leaner, or in any way better, it is
           just about being more you.

I believe there is a level of self healing we can tap into when we move our bodies in a
conscious and loving way and when we combine that with breath and sound we open
ourselves up to an experience that can lead to profound physical, conscious and sub-
conscious shifts taking place. Often in this practice we are working on the more
subtle energetic levels and so it will most likely look and feel different to any other
style of yoga you may have done in the past.

           Rose from Sundari Yoga

I'm Rose and I spent the last few years immersed in yoga and meditation at Hridaya
Yoga Mexico. This was a washing machine of spiritual training, extended periods of
silence and solitude, while navigating the challenges of living and working in
           community.

I was deeply moved by the depth and joy within the Hridaya teachings (Hridaya means
'Spiritual Heart'). These teachings inspire the style of yoga and meditation I practice
and teach and continue to study.
