OUR THEME THIS SUMMER IS THE HAZARDS OF HUBRIS: WHEN DEADLY PRIDE TURNS…WELL, YOU KNOW THE REST. WHAT’S HUBRIS? IT’S KINDA LIKE WHEN THAT ICARUS DUDE THOUGHT HE WAS ALL THAT AND DECIDED TO FLY TO THE SUN ON WAXED WINGS. SO BEWARE DEMIGODS, THIS SUMMER WE’RE DROPPING YOU INTO A PRIMORDIAL PIT OF MYTHOLOGY-BASED EXPERIENCES THAT YOU’LL ONLY SURVIVE BY LOOKING OUT FOR THE “DEAD” IN DEADLY PRIDE.

FAQs CAN YOU PURCHASE AN ADDITIONAL T-SHIRT? Unfortunately, we are not able to sell additional T-shirts right now. We will update this information if that changes. WHEN CAN WE EXPECT T-SHIRTS AND SWORDS? You will be able to pick up your materials on your first day of camp! IS THE WHOLE CAMP OUTDOORS? Yes! We spend our days outside. We take frequent cold water breaks to make sure everyone stays hydrated and cool.
FAQs DO YOU OFFER MEDICAL ACCOMMODATIONS? Our staff members are trained in First Aid and CPR. We do not have a nurse on staff, and our staff members are not allowed to dispense medicine to campers. If your demigod would need consistent medical assistance during the camp day, we have had family members or caregivers attend with the camper and be stationed nearby for these purposes. WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY AT CAMP LOOK LIKE? Each week has its own story arc where our demigod campers complete a series of training (sword fighting, Monsters 101, trivia, Olympic Games) in preparation to face the challenges brought on by the story of the week. Each session, we explore a different myth, so no two weeks are the same. Campers can spend their days making armor and weapons in the forge, going on scavenger hunts, playing Mythomagic (our tabletop role-playing game), and meeting characters like the Oracle. Then, of course, each week also features a Quest day.
FAQs WHAT IS YOUR INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY? If we experience unexpected rain showers during the camp day, demigods will transi- tion to a designated shelter area within the campsite. All safety guidelines and social distance measures will be followed and programming will be adjusted accordingly. If the rain is deemed severe and is projected to last for the rest of the day, families will be notified to pick up their demigods early. Demigods should be prepared with pon- chos or umbrellas. Alternatively, if the Camp Director determines that severe weather will occur for an entire day, the camp day will be cancelled in advance and we will transition to virtu- al programming. Camp Directors will send out an email the night prior with relevant details including Zoom login information. CAN I ADD A WEEK DURING THE SUMMER? You can register for additional weeks during the summer as long as availability allows.
