2018 RULES & REGS Honda Gearing Rule All Honda powered cars will be required to run gear ratios from the following range for CTMP events. Honda’s in B Class Grandfather current Honda’s running in B Class for 2018 29.5 restrictor New Honda’s to series will race in A Class Tires Tires for Ontario Series Toyo R888 (all cars) Tires for Quebec Series Honda Toyo R888R, Ford Toyo R888 Must run the correct tire for each of the series. Tire at Calabogie will be the R888 for all cars from both series
Testing rule Testing is prohibited at a track for a period of 30 days prior to a Toyo Tires F1600 Championship event. Promoter or CASC sanctioned test days attached to the events are permitted. B Class Presenting Sponsor Awarding Contingency Prizes Money is awarded based on finishing position in B Class 1st $300 2nd $200 3rd $100 Support through Tow Funds 1. Car is towed 350+km to the race track of the event 2. Open to ‘A’ and ‘B’ Class drivers 3. $300 for each of the 5 qualifying drivers – those first 5 to enter an event who meet the 350+ km rule
Expectations 1. Stylized decals to be placed on the nose of the cars 2. feldrives.com decals to be placed on each side of the car, clearly visible and not obstructed by tires /wheels etc. 3. When using FEL in media releases must use FEL (all caps no spaces or periods) …. So #FEL not #feldrives or #FELdrives 4. When displaying website on social media releases use feldrivers.com 5. When speaking about sponsor say each letter F E L (rather than saying fell)

Series Champion – Entry ticket Mazda Road to Indy USF2000 200K Scholarship Shootout Between the ages of 14 – 25 years Invitations to feeder series drivers, to a Mazda Road to Indy race weekend which includes credentials, hospitality and alignment to shadow a team during the event. TECH AT EVENTS Goal: 1. To educate drivers and teams on the tech process 2. To educate drivers and teams on how to check their own engines and cars 3. To ensure tech on both ‘A’ and ‘B’ cars, and Honda and Kent engines occurs at each and every event 4. Display the series as professional series with integrity by holding all drivers, teams and officials accountable to the rules and regulations

IMPLEMENTATION PLANS 1. Equipment required for tech will be available at each race event 2. Tech personnel will determine what test will be completed 3. Log of tech completed will be kept 4. The driver and/or team owner will be in attendance during test 5. No car is to stop in pit lane after the chequered flag is presented after any timed sessions - qualifying or race sessions (no warning this year – penalty will be issued) 6. All cars are to report to impound after qualifying and race sessions 7. Drivers and teams have the opportunity to seek support in self checking own car and engine anytime during the event weekend, including the test day if personnel is available 8. Gearboxes or engines may be sealed after a session to be checked after racing on either Saturday or Sunday.
SURVEY RESULTS Results are from the survey sent out to members in November 2017. 21 Responses of 31 members 68% 2017 Race Event Attendance 10 drivers attended 4 to 6 events 11 drivers attended 1 to 3 events Social Events Continue BBQ – will have two this year – BARC event + one other TBA Awards Preference by drivers for a variety of styles throughout the season

Weekly posts to Website highlighting drivers, events, season highlights 3. Instagram and Twitter regular and frequent posts during race weekends 4. Facebook posts leading up to and after each race event 5. Cars on display at other events (ie. Karting track, shows etc)
