honour the We must voices of the child, consider their worth and allow those thoughts of theirs to be made visible. We have to give them the tools and scaffold their learning to make meaning of the world in their thoughts and connect them to the real world.
values Secondly, must be fundamental and foundational – it must build up the child. We have taken heed to the wise words of the sage, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it”.
