across the primary age range.

Due to the recent increase in our pupil numbers we have created additional posts for
experienced Learning Support Assistants experienced in Autism. The successful
candidates will be required to provide quality support, including 1:1 support for pupils with
ASD in, either a mainstream classroom, our Autism ARP or Mainstream Additional
Provision (Rainbow Room). The post is term time only, 26.5 hours per week, 5 days a
week until the end of the school year (July 19).

You will need to hold an NVQ 2 or above to apply and have recent and relevant experience
of working with Autistic children. You will have high expectations of work and behaviour.
You will be able to work effectively in a team and be flexible, as well as be able to show
initiative.

successful candidate will assist the Finance Officer in the smooth running of school
administration particularly in relation to the procurement process, in ordering goods and
services on behalf of the school.

You will be responsible for collating and maintaining an efficient system for filing and
retrieving documents relating to finance as well as some reconciliation work and speaking
to suppliers on a daily basis. You will also assist in some general office duties and HR filing
– therefore you will have excellent communication skills, a friendly, professional demeanour
and a can-do approach to your work. You must demonstrate an awareness of the
importance of confidentiality and have a professional approach when dealing with
colleagues and stakeholders. You will receive training and work in a friendly environment

Trinity School is an all age, modern, vibrant special school catering for the needs of
students who have a wide range of learning difficulties. Many of our pupils have severe,
profound and complex learning disabilities.

The School is currently looking to recruit at least one Teaching Assistant Apprentice. Some
prior experience of working with children or in a caring role would be desirable. The post will
specifically be to work with pupils who have profound and complex disabilities so the
successful candidate must be willing to carry out personal care and basic hygiene duties
and will be well supported and trained to do this.

You should ideally possess GCSEs Grade A to C or equivalent in both Maths and English
or an equivalent qualification. However, if you do not possess these qualifications, provided
you have a willingness to work towards literacy, numeracy and ICT functional skills
qualifications and are able to pass the BSKB basic functional skills assessment, it will be
possible for you to gain entry to the NVQ Level 2 Apprenticeship.

We view the Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship as a fantastic opportunity for committed
and dedicated people to study and work towards progression to a permanent Teaching
Assistant post.

Main Duties:
    • Supervise work that has been set for the class

       explanations of lesson content within their level of competence
    • Implement the School Code of Conduct to include Equal Opportunities, Anti-Bullying,

    • Deal with immediate problems and emergencies according to the school’s Policies and
       Procedures
    • Collect completed work after the lesson and return to appropriate teacher/department
