Lunch accounts should be prepaid and used as a checking or debit account, not as a credit type of account. If your child's account currently has a negative balance, please pay this balance as soon as possible by visiting the Family Portal. Payments are also accepted at each building with cash or check in the office, or cafeteria. Each household has access to their family portal account where you can: • View account balances • View meal history • Make payments • Add funds to your student(s) account Our food service team will never refuse a student from receiving lunch due to a lack of funds. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping track of your child's lunch account and paying any outstanding balances! If you have any questions, please contact Food Service Director, Holly Haywood at 616-696-0372. Enrollment to attend Kent Career Tech Center for Sophomores and Juniors in the 2023-2024 school year will open on Monday, Feb. 7. Attending the open house at KCTC (on Feb 7 or 8) will count as a KCTC program visit. Program visits give you an advantage in getting into the KCTC program of your choice. View the full communication e-mailed to students with information on open house information, how to sign up for program visits, and enrollment information.
Learn More About KCTC Program Visits and Enrollment Please be patient when picking up your student and use the appropriate turnaround. When you arrive, wait in line and follow the traffic flow to keep this a safe process for our students. Vehicles should refrain from parking in the high school bus/staff parking lot and the road in that area. This type of parking blocks our buses from loading/unloading students and causes safety issues at the end of the day. We appreciate your corporation in keeping pick-up time safe for our students!
