Once wedding is confirmed it cannot be canceled within six months of the date of the wedding without a fee. For weddings booked within six months of the wedding date the wedding cannot be canceled without the penalty. The cancellation penalty is $100.

set-ups, reception options and romantic amenities to visualize the big day!
COUPLE’S EXPERIENCE:
P RIVATE SITE I NSP ECTI O N: Wedding couples receive a personal site inspection of the resort to help choose ceremony and
reception location options.
ONE-O N-O NE: All questions are answered in a private meeting with the resort’s wedding coordinator to ensure the couple’s vision for the
wedding day is realized.
RE CEIVE CR ED I T : After the site inspection, the couple receives a credit towards wedding extras for the wedding events, bachelorette/
bachelor party or the honeymoon if they book within 30 days of the return date.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Wedding couple can obtain this special rate by contacting their travel agent, tour operator or hotel directly for the couple to be eligible for the credits. All on-site meetings and site inspection dates and times must be confirmed with the wedding coordinator in advance of travel.
Resort Credit:
If wedding date is booked within 30 days of return date, the couple will receive: • $500 credit for wedding extras (for groups with minimum 45 room nights cumulative)
If the couple books their honeymoon within 30 days of return date, the couple will receive: • $100 credit to use towards their stay (minimum seven night stay).

The following list of legal requirements are needed only for legal marriage. The Dreams Huatulco wedding coordinator must receive the following documents
to begin the application for marriage in the Civil Registry Office.
• Copy of Birth certificate. Certified copies legalized by Mexican Consulate in your country
• Copy of Valid Passports (Wedding Couple)
• Tourist Visa Cards for the Bride(s), Groom(s) and Witnesses (Will be provided at the airport)
• $300 USD fee for a blood test. To be valid, the test must be taken in Mexico, no more than 14 days prior to the ceremony. The blood will be tested for HIV,
STD’s and blood type. Results will be ready within 24 hours.
• Four witnesses are required by law. If any witness is not a Mexican citizen, a copy of their Tourist Visa Cards are required. The hotel can provide any number
of witness necessary.
• Permission from the Secretary of State to get married in Mexico. Must be done directly, upon arrival, at Immigration.
• Reservation with the Justice of Peace must be made 30 days prior to the ceremony.
• Certified copies of the original birth certificate and original divorce certificates will stay with the Justice of the Peace. They won’t be returned.*
• Bride(s), Groom(s) and Witnesses must arrive in Huatulco four business days prior to the wedding day (Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays do not count).
Symbolic and non-legal ceremonies allow flexibility for arrival date. Please speak with the wedding coordinator to discuss requirements.
• If Bride(s) or Groom(s) are divorced, they will need their original Birth Certificates and Final Divorce Decrees. These documents must be translated into
Spanish and each must have a stamp (Le Apostille) of the Registry of their country. Translation services cost per certificate must be confirmed with the
wedding coordinator. Translations must be done in Mexico or by a certified translator at the Mexican embassy of the couple’s country, otherwise will not be
valid.
• The names, addresses, nationalities, ages, occupation, relationship, copy of a tourist card and a valid identification of the four witnesses. Your wedding
coordinator will send you the legal form. The witnesses can be relatives, friends or anyone who has a valid passport.
• The Marriage Certificate is only valid in Mexico. In order to make it legal internationally, the Wedding Coordinator will send a copy of your License
to the Validation Process. The fee will be $300 USD. The process will take up to 2-4 months. Once the document is apostilled, the resort will send all
documentation to couples home address.
