WATER IRELAND CONFERENCE WATER IRELAND CONFERENCE 2022 Water Ireland 2022 will bring together all the key stakeholders in the water services sector on the island of Ireland to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the sector. This year’s conference will open with a plenary session looking at the strategic issues, including European water policy developments. The focus will then turn to water and wastewater infrastructure delivery with investment at record levels and this will increase further over the coming period. The afternoon will start with a panel discussion on the sustainability and resilience of water resources and wastewater treatment. The conference will close with a panel discussion bringing all these issues together as we look to the future outlook for the sector. The conference will look at the key challenges facing the sector: • Investment in water and wastewater networks; • Impact of European water policy developments; • Challenges and strategies for infrastructure delivery; • Making water and wastewater networks more resilient and sustainable; • Future outlook for the water services sector.
