HeLiiX – Nice HeLiiX – Health & Longevity Institute for Innovation & eXperimentation "Creating the Future of Healthcare Together" ✓ HeLiiX is the reference center dedicated to health, well-being, and quality aging, which are all important economic sectors for the Côte d’Azur area. Institut Claude Pompidou – Nice Center focused on issues related to Alzheimer’s disease such as housing, care, education, and research ✓ The Institut Claude Pompidou (ICP) is the result of a partnership between the Nice CHU university hospital and the Fondation Pompidou, which have joined forces to provide concrete and innovative answers to the problems posed by Alzheimer’s disease and related conditions. ✓ The ICP aims to be a benchmark facility for Alzheimer’s disease prevention and it works on all three tiers of prevention and treatment: primary, secondary, and tertiary. Focus: Demonstrators Tech 4 Active Ageing AMU/AG2R – Marseille Active Aging 2.0 ✓ The project aims to facilitate demonstrator projects through the Active Aging 2.0 chair for research run by Aix-Marseille-University and AG2R in partnership with the company Prolexia. Living Lab for health & autonomy – Digne-les-Bains ✓ In 2020, the health care center in Digne-les- Bains launched a living lab specializing in preventive health care and increasing autonomy among seniors with the goal of developing a network of expertise in these fields. ✓ As an open, cross-disciplinary space dedicated to innovation, the living lab’s vocation is to create new products and services that will contribute to the territory's strategy to become a benchmark for quality and healthy living. ✓ These facilities will make it possible to support seniors living in their own homes for as long as possible and will develop a new range of services and solutions in the field of preventive healthcare. CMQ: Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications training center – Marseille The CMQ training center for the silver economy and quality aging at home in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur ✓ This training center fosters cooperation between the education system, professional training systems, and the sector’s business ecosystem to prepare a silver economy workforce adapted to new challenges and the needs of companies. The Sophia Antipolis Science Park The #1 Information Technology Park in Europe Sophia Antipolis was launched in 1969 by French Senator Pierre Laffitte with the mission to foster cross-fertilization between researchers, academics, and industries. The site has become a world reference in innovation with 2230 companies employing 36 300 people from 63 different countries working alongside, 4000 researchers and 5000 students. Sophia Antipolis has been attracting industry leaders, engineers, and researchers from all over the world for more than 40 years. Each year, 800 new jobs are created on average at the IT park. All of this has established Sophia Antipolis as a leading global destination for R&D activities or for projects with a high technological focus. The information technology sector represents 20% of companies and 42% of jobs at Sophia Antipolis and is the park’s core area of expertise, with related specialties in the fields of health, chemistry, life sciences, and the environment.
