Virtual Holiday Shop
Sign up your child to get all their holiday shopping done
via Zoom with our resident Park District Elf. Our Elf will
shop with your child virtually (no help needed from Mom
or Dad), and will have all the gifts wrapped and ready
to pick up the next day at the Alcott Center. Shopping
appointments will be scheduled after enrollment between
December 1 - December 10. Please register each child
individually. There is a registration deposit of $5 per
child that will be put towards their shopping total; the
remainder will be due at the time of pick-up at the Alcott
Center. Only a limited number of registrations will be

Santa’s Mailbox
Santa has made special arrangements with the Buffalo Grove Park
District as a special helper to answer all the letters from boys and girls
in Buffalo Grove. Letters will be answered to each child who drops
off a letter. Please Note: This is for Buffalo Grove Park District resi-
dents only. School teachers who wish to have their students’ letters
answered must have prior approval.

Cinderella’s Royal Message Center
Although 2020 looks and feels different, your prince or princess
still deserves to feel the royal treatment. In place of our annual
Cinderella’s Royal Ball this year, we have set up a way for you
to purchase a special surprise message personalized for your
child. You tell us about your child, and we will personalize
a message from your favorite royal character for only $10 for
residents, and $12 for nonresidents. This is a perfect Valentine’s
Day or birthday surprise, and can also just be a simple way to
remind your kids how special they are. To learn more details, or
to fill out the Royal Message Center request form, please email
Jessi Hersman at jessi@bgparks.org. All requests must be submit-
ted by January 20 to be guaranteed by February 14. The Royal
Message Center will be open and taking requests until February
1. There is a no refund policy for this program.
Bags
Tournament
Our 1-day bags tournament is a great way to get out of the
Saturday, February 17 house, and have some fun! Get out, play bags and keep
3:30 - 8:30 pm those skills sharp for summer time.
Location To Be Determined
Register with a partner, and teams are guaranteed
3 games to 21 points. All games will be self offici-
ated, and rules will be emailed out a week before the
tournament. Please note: Face coverings must be worn at all
times by participants; and, teams will need to bring their own
bags to the tournament. For more information, contact Jimmy Mix at
