I hope you and yours are doing

• In this edition of Magic Life
News we welcome three new
residents to Magic Life.
• We celebrate Valentines Day
and enjoy some pancakes on
Shrove Tuesday 2021.
• We also have some Birthday
celebrations and a whole lot
of images to share.
In addition to all this good stuff we
would personally like to wish Tony,
Nana, Hassan and Paul a very

Surprise Surpise
52 Bruce
It’s been a busy month for
the team at Bruce Grove
with two birthdays. The team
celebrated HC’s big day with
cakes and snacks and they
sung him Happy Birthday. The
second of the Birthday cele-
bration was for staff member
Nana. By the look of the pho-
tos a lot of fun was had by all
as they took to the floor with
some songs on the karaoke
machine. In addition to these
festivities, residents have been
enjoying Scrabble and other
games.

More Birthdays

More birthday celebrations
with PH celebrating his big
day at 672
and everyone wishing him
many happy returns of the
day.
Life in general is good at 672
and everyone is settled into
their daily life routines. PH
enjoys walks in the park after
taking care of his laundry and
CK starts his day with freshly
squeezed oranges and loves
his cereal.
SSS enjoys his walks and
seems happy with his routine.

Alexandra Palace
Devonshire Lodge
Its been a busy time at De-
vonshire Lodge. We had the
company of a young man
joining us for a week, and by
the looks of it, he was really
spoilt with some tasty pan-
cakes.
We took a trip to Alexandria
Palace on a wonderful bright
day enjoying the amazing
views of London.
We have had trips to the park
where OB loves to climb and
burn off energy and other
residents enjoy the park too
playing on the swings. We
have also been busy with
counting, daily chores and of
course some well deserved
down time.

Arts & Craft
Harringay Road
The Residents and staff look to be having a lot of
fun at Harringay Road. The guys have been singing

of Yolande and house mate getting stuck in. Arts
and Craft also took centre stage with some great
bits of creative work. And the firm favourite of the
home.... Cooking. Yum

12000 Steps
Greyhound Road
Congratulations to HC for completing 120000 daily steps. HC has really been putting in the hard works
with his daily exercise routine. TO has also raised his game by completing 8000 daily steps . Super well
done Guys!
The guys have also been doing some dog walks in addition to the walking, so they must be some
seriously fit men. If that wasn’t enough the guys have been busy with Arts and Crafts with Elaine who
helped TO make a Valentine’s Day card for his mother. Some English and Maths classes took place
also. Great month all round.

Grove Park Road
Sometimes the simple things give us so much pleasure. Enjoying the therapeutic value of colouring. A
few residents at Grove Park Road entertain themselves with some Valentines cake making and colour-
ing in.

Magic Life welcomes
our first resident to
Cedar Lodge in Hale
End. He is settling in well
by spending time in the
sensory room and pad-
dling pool but he really
enjoys playing with the
instruments

Yard Duties
Manor Lodge
February has been a busy
month for Birthdays and at
Manor Lodge Michael cele-
brated his birthday too. In a
month that has seen sunshine,
rain and snow the guys got
busy in the front driveway
clearing the snow. Hopefully
with lock-down soon coming
to an end we can see the
guys getting involved in more
sports.

Wonderful Snow
Park Lodge
The snow finally showed up
and the guys at Park Lodge
wasted no time in getting out
there and making snow balls
to throw as you do.
A massive thank you to KE for
his wonderful creation of a
cardboard dog. When I was
visiting Park Lodge I com-
mented on the Robot Man he
built and asked him to make
a dog. And what a dog he
made. So amazing the skill
he has in creating stuff from
cardboard. Well done KE.
And continuing with the
Birthday theme of the month
we wish Tony a very Happy
Birthday.
