ARMY MEDICINE One Team…One Purpose! Conserving the Fighting Strength Since 1775 Cold/Flu Prevention • Cold weather does not cause colds or flu, but the viruses that cause colds and flu tend to be more common in the winter due to people being inside and in closer contact with each other • Frequent hand washing and sneezing/coughing into the bend of your elbow may help reduce the spread of colds and flu • Adequate sleep and exercise are also very important to maintain overall health • One of the most important ways to prevent the flu is to get your annual flu vaccine. All people 6 months of age and up should get their annual flu vaccine

DFMWR October Announcements Laser Tag Reboot: Cyber Blast Last Frontier Community Activity Center The Brand new system is up and running! USAG Alaska boasts the largest laser tag in the state of Alaska. With room for 26 people, two teams of 13; it can accommodate birthday parties and other group gatherings. Cyber Blast brings a whole new meaning to Laser Tag: you no longer need to have your entire squad with you in order to play. Come in as a single or a family and the staff will get you into a game. A large assortment of arcade games for kids of all ages are also available.
