uq pro bono student disbursements fund The ability to undertake pro bono work is often easier for students from wealthy backgrounds who do not need to financially support themselves through University. The UQ Pro Bono Centre is committed to ensuring that law students from diverse backgrounds are able to participate in pro bono activities. A donation to the Disbursements Fund will support students financially by covering the cost of any compulsory training that is required before starting a placement, and assist them with travel and basic living expenses if they undertake regional or international placements away from home. It will also help the Centre to expand student pro bono opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region. Donations of $50 and above will be gratefully received.
