Comanche EA Update 2 Notes EA Update 2 Notes Date 20.05.2020 Comanche's second big Early Access update is now live. It includes not only planned roadmap features and changes but a lot of changes based on Community Feedback as well. Check out the following for more details. Most notable Changes ● New singleplayer operation: Door Breaker ● Russian and simplified Chinese localisation ● Ongoing multiplayer matches ● Drone Skins ● Ping System ● Controls Improvements ● Adjustable singleplayer difficulty ● Better Match Statistics Changes Details Operation: Door Breaker The Comanche Singleplayer experience continues: A covert operation to dismantle the plans of Kude Core deep within enemy territory. To achieve this you will be operating the Ghost Comanche. Avoid detection by an unstoppable enemy, and pick your fights well to succeed. Russian and Simplified Chinese localisation Most ingame texts are now localised in Russian and Simplified Chinese languages. Ongoing multiplayer matches Going through the matchmaking queue can be exhausting sometimes. With the new ongoing matches feature, a new match will be started directly after a match has been ended, without having to queue again. To support this, refilling and late joining of games also got a lot faster. 3/7
Comanche EA Update 2 Notes Drone Skins Now you can unlock and activate skins not only for your helicopters but your drones as well. Common, Rare and Legendary Skins have been introduced. Unlock these by participating in multiplayer games. Team sizes Maximum team size has been temporarily adjusted to be 2 players. This is necessary to improve the matchmaking for a smaller player base. We will remove this restriction once we hit a certain threshold of active users. This also reduces the chances for newcomers to be matched against a full group. Thus reducing the chance to end up in 1 v 4 matches. Ping System This new feature allows players to quickly select predefined radio coms as a communication tool for the team. Please note that some players will need to go to the control settings and assign a keybinding to “Command Wheel” or reset the control scheme (“Restore Defaults”, please note that you’ll need to enter your keybindings again if you choose this option). Implemented Community Feedback “Join the community - shape the game” - we want to develop Comanche further together with you, based on your input. The following content (“Adjustable Difficulty for Singleplayer Content”, “Arcade Controls Improvements”, “Score Board Extensions”, “Improved Gamepad Controls”) is based on your feedback. Please stay so helpful and supportive! We will continue to listen and evaluate every feedback from the Comanche players. The coming updates will reflect this as well. Adjustable Difficulty for Singleplayer Content To match the skill level and playstyle of most players we added different difficulty modes into the singleplayer mode. You’ll find it in the general settings of Comanche. Arcade Controls Improvements Arcade Controls have been updated so that the Comanche follows the camera. The Freelook button will disable the AutoYaw while being pressed, so it still acts as a 'free look'. Removed the combine Yaw/Roll assistant, it is now unnecessary. 4/7
Comanche EA Update 2 Notes Better Match Statistics The score board design has been updated. It now incorporates player ranks and Steam avatar icons, and ranks players according to their participation in a match. Repairing other players is now included in the participation score. Game mode objective play has been added to the Scoreboard. Controls The currently used input device is now automatically detected, and ingame hints are updated accordingly. Gamepad Controls Improvements General ● Left Stick Button= Zoom Out (prev.: Hover) ● Face Button Bottom = Hover (prev.: None) Arcade ● Face Button Left = Alt Fire (prev.: Left Stick Button) ● D-Pad Left = Reload (prev.: Face Button Left) Balancing Ghost ● Chaffs can now be triggered when being cloaked. ● Heavy Rotary Gun has been changed from limited ammunition to overheating. ● Reduced Heavy Rotary Gun spread slightly. Prototype ● Reduced Light Rotary Gun damage per shot slightly, down from 12 to 11 ● Raised Light Rotary Gun rate of fire moderately, up from 600 to 700 rpm ● Reduced Light Rotary Gun spread per shot slightly ● Raised Light Rotary Gun ammo count drastically, up from 120 to 200 ● Raised Flares active range up drastically, from 100 m to 4 km Eve 5/7
Comanche EA Update 2 Notes ● Reduced Repair Missile refill time moderately, down from 25 to 20 seconds ● Reduced Light Gun max damage significantly, down from 50 to 40 ● Reduced Light Gun min damage significantly, down from 40 to 30 Rhino ● Reduced Rhino damage per shot slightly ● Raised Scattergun clip reload time moderately, up from 0.8 to 1 second ● Raised Sonar cooldown up slightly, from 18 to 20 seconds Guided missiles ● Guided missiles can no longer lock on mines and soldiers ● Guided missiles can no longer lock on drones in multiplayer Drones ● Increased Grenade launcher damage drastically. ● Circuit ○ Raised Light Machine Gun rate of fire up slightly, from 600 to 800 rpm ○ Raised Light Machine Gun ammo clip size slightly, up from 30 to 32 ○ Raised Light Machine Gun spread per shot decay rate up significantly, from 8 to 15 per second ● Shell-Shock ○ Damage per shot down significantly, from 4 to 3 ○ Pellets per shot up moderately, from 9 to 12 ● Curie ○ Max damage up moderately, from 30 to 35 ○ Min damage up significantly, from 20 to 30 Weapons ● Added area of effect damage to Light Rotary Gun, Heavy Rotary Gun and Rail Gun NPCs ● Reduced health numbers for various enemies ● Reduced NPC Helicopter armor down from 5 to 4 6/7
Comanche EA Update 2 Notes Multiplayer ● Reduced respawn protection duration from 15 to 10 seconds. ● Updated End of Match Screen timer to be 20 seconds Singleplayer Changes ● All enemy units now have unit names ● Enabled game pausing in Singleplayer while the Escape Menu is opened. ● AUDIO: ○ ALL NPC Ground Units (Tanks, Jeeps, Trucks) have now speed-dynamic and new sounds (idle and different speeds) (instead of one static loop for all velocity levels) Operation: Blind Anvil ● Fixed a situation where a turret was hardly spotted before it started attacking the player. ● Replaced the Circuit with the Shell-Shock drone. ● Updated the clouds layer ● Removed a number of enemies from difficult encounters. ● Updated some patrol points. ● Changed mg turrets to be consistently rocket turrets ● Adjusted enemy placement at Harbor/Main Base Area ● Reduced health for various enemies. 7/7
