PHASE 2 COVID FUNDING Families who accessed the MNO Emergency Income Relief Benefit of $750 in 2020 are eligible to receive an additional $2,000 without needing to provide any additional documentation Child-related supports now extend to include children 13 – 18 yrs: • Emergency Family Fund • Technology Fund • Food Security for Children MNO Food Security & Household Necessity Fund for Adults and Seniors • S upport available to all MNO citizen’s 18+ to help with additional household costs during the pandemic
Moving ahead with establishing portfolios Key areas include: Métis CYFS; Citizenship; Economic Prosperity and Development; Environment and Climate Change; Early Learning Education Culture and Heritage; Employment and Training; Finance; among others

Community Wellbeing Fund In 2020, Nuclear Waste Management Organization contributed $250k to the MNO; CWF managed and distributed by Intergovernmental and Community Relations
Proposed two-day Virtual 2021 AGA Sept 18-19, 2021 Incorporating more information updates, cultural events and workshops AGA 2022 in-person in Toronto (August 2022) if it is safe to do so
Secretary-Treasurer's Report • Approve the reformatted and revised draft Financial Policies and Procedures Manual • Approve the Cash Management Strategy as presented in the Briefing Note dated January 11, 2021 prepared by the Director of Finance; • Approve the (revised) Section 012 Honorarium Policy as presented on January 31, 2021 which provides for an increase in the eligible honorarium amount from $150 to $200.
Finance Report •P ositions for Chief Financial Officer and Controller have been posted •H ired two Accounts Payable Officers (and temporary staff) to assist with Covid programs •C reation of Housing and Self- Government branches • As recommended by the FAC, PCMNO passed a resolution to approve the MNO Secretariat engaging Baker Tilly to provide bookkeeping and accounting services compatible with MNO financial processes and procedures to MNO Community Councils at a cost of $2,600 per Community Council per year, subject to available funding

MNO Cultural Commission (MNOCC) Reform In the process of revitalizing MNOCC, a registered charity, which functions primarily as a fundraising tool to support Métis arts and culture PCMNO passed two resolutions appointing MNOCC board of directors to serve 3-year term: Margaret Froh; Sharon Cadeau; Natalie Durocher; France Picotte; Tim Pile; Jo Anne Young; Mitch Case; David Dusome; and Peter Rivers
MNO Community Council Elections and AGMs Due to Covid-19 restrictions, new tools and resources are needed to aid MNO Community Councils in fulfilling their mandates, including AGMS and elections Expressions of Interest (EOI) for appointing a Chief Electoral Officer
MNO Prosperity Trust Fund Update Investment consultants from T.E. Wealth provided a year-end performance update on the MNO Prosperity Trust A resolution was passed to retain the services of Mawer Investment Management Ltd. to invest funds held in the Trust; and execute the Statement of Investment Policies and Guideline
MNO Covid-19 Vaccination Roll Out ·O ntario’s plans for mobilizing COVID-19 vaccinations across the province are rapidly changing ·M NO is working with Ontario to plan for vaccination roll-out for MNO Citizens as part of Ontario’s Phase One vaccine distribution
A resolution was passed that: •d irects staff to work with Ontario to establish COVID-19 vaccine clinics for MNO Citizens as expeditiously as possible •e stablished preference for the vaccine to be administered by Public Health Units, Pharmacies or other approved distribution sites across Ontario on a first-come first- served basis; •a dvance registration for most vulnerable MNO Citizens, i.e. seniors 65+, individuals at high risk of COVID-19 infection and who are immunocompromised

Registry Report Final report nearing completion The report proves beyond a shadow of a doubt the integrity and strength of the MNO Registry PCMNO will meet again to discuss the report once it is finalized, along with supporting communication materials MNO leadership town hall planned to discuss the final report prior to its public release
Other Business ppointment of Mike Harris to the Order of Ontario. A It was resolved that PCMNO direct President Froh to: • Write to Lt Governor and express the MNO’s extreme disappointment and call for an apology •O ffer “Métis 101 and Cultural Awareness” training to the Lt Governor’s office staff and the Advisory Council associated with the Order of Ontario •E ncourage Lt Governor’s office to appoint people to the Order who have made significant contributions to the Métis Nation of Ontario, other Indigenous communities in Ontario and to reconciliation
MNO’s Métis Child, Youth and Family Services Project •C ommunity Engagement Sessions in 2021 • I mproving the current system •B uilding a system that is conducive to Métis specific child, youth and family needs

MNO’S MENTAL HEALTH & ADDICTIONS PROGRAM WHAT SERVICES ARE PROVIDED: Citizens can access a wide range of free mental health and addictions services and supports for Métis youth and adults. Delivered in person where possible, or over videoconference or telephone, we connect people to seamless and timely access to assessments, treatment and follow up provided by professionals, some of which are Métis and bilingual: • HA case managers (Navigators) M • sychologists P • ocial workers S • sychiatrists P • sychotherapists P • ddictions counsellors, including gaming, technology dependency and gambling A supports • O ccupational and speech therapies • T utoring • A ccess to justice and financial counselling
