Greetings W hile Ireland’s Plumbing & Heating Magazine remains the leading trade publication for our industry we aren’t going to rest on our laurels as we enter 2019. Once again, we will work tirelessly to bring you the latest insights into our diverse industry, including company news, product launches, opinion pieces, new regulations, case studies and in-depth features on specific topics ranging from water treatment and bathrooms through to energy efficiency and domestic and commercial heating. PLUMBEX Trade Events will once more bring the industry together to showcase the latest industry developments. We return to Dublin’s Citywest Hotel in May while, for the first time, we’re delighted to be bringing PLUMBEX to Cork. We have listened to the industry and reacted to the demand for this event in Cork, which takes place in April (full details on both PLUMBEX events are on pages 16-17). Ireland’s Plumbing & Heating Awards will take place in Dublin in September where we will again recognise the industry’s leading people, products, projects and companies. Find out how to enter – or sponsor – on pages 24-25. Finally, we’ve taken note of the environmental concerns that have been making the headlines over the last 12 months and have reacted accordingly. Moving forward we will be offering a more compact magazine that is printed on ‘green’ paper. However, you won’t miss out as we will continue to offer you the latest insights through our new- look website and social media channels (read more about our digital offering on pages 20-21). With our bi-monthly magazine, digital channels and events, Ireland’s Plumbing & Heating Magazine has a lot to offer over the next 12 months. Best wishes to you all for 2019.
