2 TheRide has been adjusting to the constantly changing realities of COVID-19 to ensure continuity and safety of our essential services. 18 Title VI Background The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, or denied benefits of its programs and services on the basis of race, color and national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requires TheRide to update its Title VI program and document its compliance with Title VI every three years. The 2020 Title VI update draft is available at TheRide.org/title-vi.
