Message from the
Education Director
Dear Students, Families, and Friends of the Stadium,
The Stadium Theatre is a vibrant and inspiring environment. It is home to hundreds of
local and out of state artists who travel here daily to explore and develop their passion
for the theater. These aspiring young actors and seasoned artists play an integral part
in the theatre’s success and daily energetic atmosphere.
Recently we renovated parts of the adjacent Stadium Conservatory building, allowing
us to expand course offerings. As a result, our 2017-2018 season was one of the most
successful years in Stadium history. The potential for development in curriculum and
experience for theatre artists at the Stadium Theatre and Conservatory is exponential.
Registrations are now being accepted for the Winter 2019 semester, beginning January 7th.
It is my privilege to work with you or your child in pursuing your theatre goals. We look
forward to your enrollment and having you become part of our theatre!

                   See you at the Stadium,

                   Rebecca Donald

Choosing the right monologue is crucial in showcasing your
strengths and abilities as an actor, while also providing a casting
team insight to your personality. Monologues are often the most
complicated and frustrating obstacle for actors. This workshop aims
to relieve some of the stress!
Joseph Walsh
Instructor Each participant should bring two chosen monologues they are
familiar with. Actors will examine their monologues and be coached
by the instructor to be aware of body, breath, and text work in order
to create an emotional truth. Each actor will leave with one audition
ready monologue they are confident in presenting.
