PRINCIPAL'S DESK Change is the constant companion, we need to keep up with… The unprecedented times have called us all to adapt rather too quickly, it called for all of us to come together in a unison to work along with each other rather than against each other. The human relationship found itself a different value, to stay connected against all odds in these deadly times, we took upto a virtual space that has now become the new normal. But, before we could reach to this point of acceptance of the new normal, we had our share of challenges which if we reflect now seem to have been seamlessly put away with. At that time, it was a mountain like challenge. I say challenge, not problem because it is this attitude that has helped us all at DPS to battle and at the same time cope with the situation. Our priority, pointless to point yet important to be stated are our children, they have always been and will always be of prime importance. Their new routine is wonderfully supported by the DPS team of management, faculty and IT department. We at DPS strive at making the new take to education a success. These times also call in for praise of our children; having takento the challenge in their stride and their spirits undeterred which has been our driving force to harbour the new skill set to make classes even more engaging. Extending warmth and gratitude to all parents for all the support in these testing times. May peace, prosperity and best of health shine upon us, always. Ms. Ritu Kaul Principal incharge CONNECTIONS

Thank you so much Rachna Bisht ma’am for such a lovely and lively Simartipriye Kaur session. 8C Most of us crave for stories that are loaded with imagination..however the novel "The Brave" has really inculcated the feeling of patriotism in us.When this interaction started, I wasn't really able to believe my eyes..listening to Rachna ma'am really kindled the spirit of patriotism in me..and I am still in the seventh heaven. Moreover by now I have learnt that for armed forces it isn't really "JUST ANOTHER DAY AT WORK". THE EDITORIAL DESK Uncertain times, Certain Valour. These times have called in for unexpected moves; the uncertainty has brought about so many different perspectives in view which we would have casually ignored if times were like they have always been. These uncertain times have brought the need to stay connected even more. It has broadened our way of thinking and has brought our adaptability skills to test. Situations where we have to keep a check on anyone who has been lately distant or sick, it has all got us close, distancing is merely physical. It cannot deter our mind proximity. We cross each other’s minds through thoughts, ideas and actions. At DPS we certainly believe in team work, underlining that our team works in harmony like a family. The intention is to help you as parents and students to find value in school family system. The part where we support each other which in certainty will help us to make through this difficult times. There is a call for undarning spirit and acquainting ourselves in pursuit to new skills. Underlining the fact, time is uncertain and time today is in abundance, that we might put that into good use. Taking up good habits-reading or learning gardening, tasks that seem simple but they make a big impact when we complete the picture. In hopes that a newer life awaits us and that we brace it with a new fervour. May peace be with you all. Rinny Rebecca - Editor CONNECTIONS
