Welcome to our autumn 2020 course programme Welcome to our autumn brochure. We have a wide range of courses for you to enjoy through the winter months, both in our centres and online. For your information we are following the latest guidance to provide a safe environment for all adult community education centre users. You will find detailed information on pages 4 to 6. Make sure you check the current alert levels and guidance (Find out the coronavirus restrictions in a local area – GOV.UK) before signing up/travelling to your course. This brochure covers learning for leisure courses across the whole of Derbyshire, and online. Our online courses are at a discounted price and this is an ideal time to learn something new. If you haven’t tried online learning before, give it a go! You will find the same warm welcome and opportunities to socialise. We are sure you will enjoy the experience and you will receive plenty of support. Our Nearpod courses are FREE online workshops that you can work through at your own pace during a 30 day period. Have a look at our wonderful festive courses on page 31 to help you prepare for the holiday period with everything from tree decorations to truffles. Lots of inspiration for presents, decorations and a chance to get creative. Our range of environmental courses can help you make informed decisions, and get creative in re-using and recycling. Have you thought about using natural options to clean your house? See page 21 for more information. We are sure you will find something new and interesting to try and we are looking forward to welcoming you back. All courses are offered subject to the appropriate COVID-19 precautions being in place to ensure your safety. There may be changes to the advertised courses as we respond to the latest government guidelines. For the most up to date information on what is happening, please visit our website, follow us on Facebook or Twitter or sign up to the Adult Community Education newsletter. 3
