Banca Generali, the first private bank in Piazza Affari, hosted for the first time in its Rome office in Via Bertoloni,
2 the Haute Couture of the designer Michele Miglionico.
With an intimate presentation for a select number of guests among Banca Generali Private customers, journalists
of the sec tor and personalities of the show, the designer Michele Miglionico sent his latest collec tion on the
catwalk once again dedicated to Basilicata (Italy), the land of origin of his family , and the suggestion of black color
symbol of the female figures of the tradition of this territory.
A collec tion worked almost elusively in this color that focuses on the construc tion and silhouette of the dress
as the first rule of High Fashion. And also the details: wool with broom and thistle fiber textures made by Lucan
weavers, silk brocades, lurex, organza produced with recycled silks and completely handmade embroidery.
From popular tradition also re-use is taken as an expression of continuit y; many of the clothes in the collec tion
were made with fabric s taken from old archives or weaving warehouses with the aim of giving a second life to a
fabric of excellence.THE EARTH
