Amsterdam, January 2018
January 2018 is a special month for Studio ROOF, as it marks our 12.5-year
anniversary! We are looking back on a wonderful time, during which we conceived and
made countless products and had the opportunity to collaborate with a great number
of inspiring people and brands. To have been able to do what we love for that many
years is something that we are proud of.
As nice as it is to look back, we prefer looking ahead at the events that are coming up.
The presentation of our 2018 spring/summer collection with a range of new creations
is here before you. We have put a lot of creative energy into it again and worked with
heart and soul on five new product series designed to beautify our homes, to play
with and to enjoy. Did you know, by the way, that our products stimulate creativity,
the imagination, motor skills and spatial insight? Thus, our products not only play a
beautiful role in the aesthetic sense, but also in the development and upbringing of our
children. We are proud of that too.
We are also proud of the fact that due to the success of both the People of the World
series and the Christmas Crib, we have been able to make a nice donation to NGO
Karm Marg, an organisation in India that provides a home for children who have
nowhere else to live. We feel blessed that we can contribute to the well-being of
children who are going through difficult times.
Another thing we are proud of and have been fully committed to ever since
Studio ROOF came into existence: all of our products are based on the principle of
sustainability. Our creations are exclusively made from recycled materials and printed
with natural inks that cause minimal or no harm to the environment. We believe this to
be a logical and necessary choice, because it is the only responsible way to make our
world more beautiful.
Last, but certainly not least, we are proud of you, our loyal and new fans! Without your
enthusiasm for our products, Studio ROOF would not be what it is today, a creative
family business confidently looking ahead to the future.
