MISSIONS
I’d like to share excerpts from a recent letter from
All Souls Episcopal Church:

“Dear Friends at Holy Trinity,
Our 2019 Outreach numbers from our annual report are now complete and
we’d like to share them with you. We served 8,041 families, 11,911 adults,
5,506 children and 4,196 seniors. We purchased and received 82.8 tons of
donated food from Harry Chapin Food Bank and Wake Up America. We also
received a fantastic amount of donated food from individuals and communi-
ties. Our volunteers served 9,425 meals using donated and purchased food.

Our Thrift Store provided 4,034 clients with $52,763 worth of clothing at no
charge to them. We supplied 307 bus passes for various appointments
(dentist, doctor, social security, etc). 32 pairs of work boots and 500 person-
al hygiene packets per month were provided by Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. We supplied bicycles and
bicycle accessories. 5 tents were provided. We were able to provide birth certificates, Florida picture IDs and mar-
riage certificates. And we gave hundreds of haircuts.

Our heartfelt thanks to you and all the volunteers for a job well done. Thank you once again.
God bless, Cherie Martin and Don Berdan, Outreach Co-Managers.”

My personal gratitude to everyone at Holy Trinity who helped make all this possible.

Blessings,
Myron Paris

                                         Online Directory and Giving
Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church is rolling out a new digital tool that will help give members the ability to com-
municate with each other and have access to directory information, donate online, track your donations and more.

WHY USE REALM?
Being the church doesn’t just happen at the church building. REALM helps us be the church between Sundays…
especially now during the pandemic! Everyone can be connected from anywhere at any time, right from our mobile
devices. It engages everyone in the life of our church by supporting the healthy relationships essential to our
church’s mission. We’ll stay organized, and you’ll stay informed about all of the opportunities for growth and fel-
lowship. When we share life together, we will grow together.

WHAT ABOUT MY PRIVACY?
Your privacy is one of our greatest concerns. REALM is only made up of the people in our church, it’s not like Fa-
cebook that is open to everyone. REALM keeps your data safe and gives you control over what information you
share and who can see it.

IS THERE A CHURCH DIRECTORY WITH ALL OF THE NAMES OF MY CHURCH FAMILY?
Yes! Once you sign on to Realm you can search the name of any of our members, guests or friends; you will then
have their address, email and phone number. This information can ONLY be accessed by folks that are registered
on REALM; this private information is NOT available to the general public.

IMPORTANT: As we start up this option, we need to obtain permission from EVERY person using REALM to al-
low others to have access to their information. If you can’t find someone on REALM, it doesn’t mean they are not a
member, it just means we haven’t received their permission to share their information.

WHAT ABOUT ONLINE GIVING?
REALM automatically records all electronic gifts and adds them to your giving record. You can view your past giv-
ing records right from your computer, tablet or smart phone. You can even make donations from your cell phone.

HOW DO I GET REALM?
If you are a HTPC member, affiliate member, or registered guest you will be receiving an email inviting you to
REALM. (Be sure to check your spam and junk mail folders if you don’t get it.) If you didn't receive the email we
probably don't have your email address. You can contact us at htpcbookkeeeper@gmail.com,
htpcsecreary@gmail.com, or call 239-567-2246 and we will send you an invitation.

Some folks may have already set up their account on Realm and will have access now!

Tracy Andrews is our Bookkeeper and she handles all of the financial entries (htpcbookkeeper@gmail.com) while
Joyce McCabe is our office manager and handles the membership information (htpcsecretary@gmail.com). Please
contact Tracy with any questions about giving as Joyce CANNOT access that data.

REALM IS CRITICAL DURING THE PANDEMIC
We've been getting ready for REALM for a few months now, not realizing how important it would be during the
current coronavirus pandemic. It is incredibly important that we stay in touch with other believers, encouraging each
other, praying for each other, and being the church on mission. REALM will help us accomplish this. Follow the in-
structions on the email invitation to get started with REALM.

Some Key Features Include:
 - Receive announcements from the church
- Look up people in the church directory
- Make safe, secure donations online
- Review your giving and pledge at any time
- Update your personal contact information (e.g., address, phone, email)

Let us just keep praying for the end Covid-19 in early 2021.

The music department would like to wish you all a Happy and Blessed New Year.

Building and Grounds Annual Congregational Report 2020
Our vision is to enhance the aesthetics of the church property and maintain them
     properly.

Interior and exterior electrical repairs were accomplished.

AEDs were installed in the church and fellowship hall.

The storage/yard equipment shed was burglarized and we had to replace some of the
     smaller equipment.

Sound deadening panels were installed in the Fellowship Hall.

New security cameras were installed with a TV monitor in the church office.

The irrigation system received a major overhaul.

The Crown of Thorns plants in front of the church which were mostly dead were re-
placed with Ixoras as a donation from Dan and Luanne Putnam with a lot of hot, hard
     work.

Two raised concrete walkway slabs were replaced to eliminate the possibility of some-
     one tripping.

A mail slot was installed in the front door of the sanctuary for deposit of offerings
when the church is closed during the week.

A new audio and video system has been installed making the sound equal in the front
and back of the sanctuary along with two new projectors and screens on the front wall.
The parking lot was seal coated and restriped to extend it’s life for at least another five
     years.

As John indicated above, two screens have been purchased and installed in the
Sanctuary. We’d like to thank the following members for their generous gifts
                              that made this possible:
                                             Scotty and Betty Robertson
                                             Paul and Jocelyn Brewer
                                             Dennis and Karen Daley
(Thank you also for your work/time installing the screens!)
