WIMBLEDON & ENGLAND 2022 CHAMPIONSHIP TENNIS PAIRED WITH A spectacular line-up of championship golf venues. Historic and modern greats have graced the courts of Wimbledon. Royal St George’s Golf Club will have just hosted The 149th Open. A natural pairing, Wimbledon and the finest heathland and links golf in England – it is our pleasure to host this unique journey as we attend championship weekend at Wimbledon and play three timeless English courses, each ranked among the world’s top 100. We begin in London at the stylish and traditional Brown’s Hotel in Mayfair, the city's oldest hotel, ideally situated to explore this wonderful neighborhood in close proximity to Buckingham Palace, St. James Park, Hyde Park and a multitude of cultural and shopping venues. Every detail has been taken care of during your stay, from breakfast to a three- course lunch at Wimbledon and transfers to and from the All England Lawn Tennis Club. Our reserved seats at Centre Court on Saturday and Sunday provide the perfect vantage point from which to see the gentlemen’s and ladies' singles and doubles final matches. Next, we transfer south to Ascot, where we check in to Coworth Park, an English country house set on sprawling grounds. From here, we play both Sunningdale courses, New and Old, and play Royal St George’s Golf Club, accessed by helicopter. An optional pre-tour visits England's Golf Coast to play three Open venues: Royal Liverpool, Royal Birkdale and Royal Lytham & St Annes. July 3–8, 2022
Plan to arrive in Manchester, England on July 4. You
will be transferred to The Chester Grosvenor, in the
heart of the idyllic town of Chester, England, just south
of Liverpool, where we stay for four nights.
Over the next three days, we play three Open venues:
Royal Liverpool (ranked #81 in the world by Golf
Digest), Royal Birkdale (#23) and Royal Lytham &
St Annes (#57). Playing these three historic Open
sites is an ideal way to enhance our championship
experience. In 2017, Jordan Spieth won in memorable
fashion at Royal Birkdale as Matt Kuchar had a front
row seat to one of the most thrilling escapes in Open
history. Royal Liverpool, set to host The 151st Open
in 2023, was the scene of Rory McIlroy’s wire-to-wire
Open victory in 2014. And, Ernie Els provided the
drama at Royal Lytham & St. Annes in 2012 as he
birdied the final hole to win his second Open, edging
out Adam Scott by that one final stroke.

these three top-100 world-ranked courses.
Royal Golf Pre-Tour price is detailed below and includes: four nights
accommodations at The Chester Grosvenor, breakfast each morning, three
rounds of golf, lunch during golf, transfers to and from golf courses, transfer
from Manchester Airport on July 4 and transfer to Brown's Hotel London
via train on July 8; additional charges may be incurred for transfers on
other arrival dates.

Centre Court at Wimbledon July 7/8: Home • London, England Depart home on July 7 for an overnight flight to London, England, where you are transferred to the comfortably luxurious and ideally located Brown's Hotel in Mayfair. Enjoy the afternoon independently exploring the wonderful surrounding neighborhood before our welcome cocktail reception this evening. Overnight: Brown's Hotel ....... July 9: London Centre Court at Wimbledon Our day begins with an English breakfast at our hotel before being transferred to Wimbledon. Home base at Wimbledon will be The Lawn, an exclusive hospitality club, where we enjoy a three-course lunch as well as fully catered food and beverage service throughout the day. From here you have the freedom to come and go to the adjacent All England Lawn Tennis Club as you please. Our reserved seating at Centre Court ensures we are able to view the major events of the day: the ladies’ singles final match and both the gentlemen’s and ladies’ doubles finals. Overnight: Brown's Hotel ....... July 10: London Centre Court at Wimbledon After breakfast and a leisurely morning, we depart for Wimbledon and The Lawn for lunch. On Centre Court this afternoon, the gentlemen's singles and mixed doubles finals will be contested. Our home base at The Lawn offers a respite between matches with full catering, before returning to the Brown's Hotel for your final evening in London. Overnight: Brown's Hotel ....... July 11: London • Ascot, England This morning, we bid farewell to London and transfer to the Ascot countryside, where we check in to Coworth Park, a country manor and favorite of Kalos guests. With vast, rolling grounds and multiple dining options, from the informal brasserie-style Barn to the Michelin-starred Restaurant, the entire experience at Coworth Park is sublime perfection. The Royal St George's Golf Club ....... July 12: Ascot Golf: The Royal St George's Golf Club Today, we fly round trip by helicopter directly between Coworth Park and The Royal St George's Golf Club, where we land within a few steps of the clubhouse. Ranked #28 in the world by Golf Digest, Royal St George’s will have hosted 15 Open Championships before we play, including the first Open outside of Scotland in 1894 and the 2021 Open. This seaside links course overlooking the North Sea is a wonderful test of golf as it changes direction multiple times in its routing through natural dunes, and is sure to be a treat to play the season following The Open. Tour: Highclere Castle Touring guests visit Highclere Castle, made popular as the setting for the Masterpiece Theatre series and movie Downton Abbey. Our tour will include visits to the state rooms and the castle garden and grounds, where our guides will share their intimate knowledge and anecdotes regarding the unique history of the buildings, artwork and residents. Overnight: Coworth Park ....... July 13: Ascot Golf: Sunningdale Golf Club – New Course Opened in 1923, the New Course is Harry Colt's immediate follow up to Pine Valley, and you may see some striking similarities, including an abundance of forced carries. Ranked #35 in the world by Golf Digest, the New Course gives the impression of being quite forgiving because the tees appear to offer a wide view, but looks can be deceiving. In most aspects, the New offers a bit more of a test than the Old. With similar heathland layouts and topographies, it will be a pleasure to play both of these classic courses at Sunningdale back to back. Tour: Mottisfont Abbey Today, we visit Mottisfont Abbey, a medieval priory with a still visible 13th century cellarium. The former Augustinian priory was transformed into a luxurious country house in 1935. Our private tour includes visits to the main state rooms and the drawing room, painted in trompe l’oeil effect by Rex Whistler. The lovely gardens, on the edge of the River Test, should be in full bloom for our enjoyment. Our guide shares anecdotes regarding the unique history of the abbey, its artwork and past residents. Golf: Sunningdale Golf Club – Old Course
Designed by Willie Park Jr. and opened for play in
1901, the Old Course at Sunningdale is regarded by
many as the perfect golfing venue, exemplified by its
current rank of number 15 in the world by Golf Digest.
A heathland course beautifully defined by pine, birch,
oak, gorse and heather, the Old Course starts with a
short par-five that eases you into the round. Coming
home, you will be tested by some of the finest holes
in golf, with a wonderful mix of short and long par-
fours and long par-threes. Accuracy from the tee and
on the approach is at a premium in order to avoid
strategically-placed bunkers and precisely account for
dramatic elevation changes.
Tour: Windsor Castle
Home to the recent Royal wedding of Prince Harry
and Meghan Markle, Windsor Castle is also one of
the Queen’s favorite weekend homes. The largest and
oldest inhabited castle in the world has been home of
British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years. We
will enjoy a guided tour of the State Apartments, Queen
Mary’s Dolls’ House, St George’s Chapel and gardens,
with lunch in Windsor before heading back to Ascot.
