Hi, I’m David Fraser, founder of
Bunkie Life.
I think a big part of our success comes back to the fact that I’m
personally a bunkie lifer.
I live in a small house in the country about an hour outside Toronto, Ontario. Our space was often cramped and
crowded when in-laws or parents came to visit. After a 4 hour drive to come and visit, they would often need to sleep
on a couch or air mattress. Unfortunately this meant at times they wouldn’t come to visit at all.
After investigating a ton of different options, I discovered the bunkie: a small log cabin that could be built quickly,

The Why
About 2 years ago my wife and I were very
excited to announce to our little daughters
that there would be another brother or sister
joining the family. I have a 6 year old blonde,
blue eyed girl, Evie, and the little carbon
copy of her, 3 years younger, Hope. We were
all jumping for joy bouncing on the couch
with excitement at the announcement!
We were about 17 weeks along and my
daughters started prepping for the new
baby and talking about the new baby and
putting aside some of their toys to give to
the new baby. On New Year’s Day 2018, we
got the worst news of our lives. We found
