For the past 18 years, I worked in Early Childhood Education & Care as an Area Manager and a Trainer/Assessor. As a lifelong learner, I know the importance of improving on your skills and knowledge everyday, whether through a formal qualification or a short course based on your interests. Nationally Accredited Courses Gender Equity Workplace gender equity is crucial for today’s workplace – gender equality boosts productivity, innovation and performance, improves workplace conditions and enables employees to fully participate and achieve their career aspirations. Understanding gender equity and how to apply a gender lens within the workplace will put you at the forefront as an employee who understands contemporary workplace needs. Expressions of Interest are currently being taken for Skills Set One from the 22521VIC Course in Gender Equity. This brand new accredited course will be offered in Term 2. The course consists of two units: VU22770 Develop a gender lens to support gender equity work, and VU22771 Apply a gender lens to own work role, and will run one day per week for seven weeks.
