WPE General Information registration information There are no requirements to attend most non-credit continuing education classes. Most classes do not require a high school diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma. Some experience may be necessary. Check course description for details and required prerequisites. Contact WPE for more information at 732-255-0409. Class Confirmation Provide a current email address to receive your course confirmations/registration receipts by email upon registration. Students registering online may print a registration receipt. It is your responsibility to confirm the start of the course and its room assignment by checking online here. WPE posts the weekly schedule of class meeting times every Friday. All classes are at OCC, unless otherwise noted. IMPORTANT! Bring your registration receipt/confirmation to the first class. If you register close to the start of the class, your name will not be on the instructor’s attendance sheet. Present your payment receipt for entrance into the class. Refund Policy Earn Continuing Education Units CEU for participation in occupation & professional development courses. You will find CEU eligible courses in the brochure with the amount of CEU given at the end of the course descriptions. In order to be eligible to receive CEU, you must meet the 80% attendance requirement, and in some cases, a passing grade, unless otherwise stated in the course description. The standard applies to certificate programs also. Your instructor will answer questions regarding the 80% attendance rate for a specific class on the first day of class. Certificate Programs & Transcripts In order to qualify for a certificate, you must successfully complete all of the courses within the Certificate Program inclusive of their requirements. Send the request for your certificate to wpeinfo@ocean.edu. Provide your OCC ID#, your name, date of birth, the name of the certificate you are requesting, dates attended, and your current mailing address. Follow this procedure when requesting a transcript letter. Employer-Sponsored Registration WPE accepts purchase orders, vouchers, and letters of intent on company letterhead for pre- approved companies only by mail. A completed WPE Registration Form must accompany these documents.
