Door #5 (Downstairs Gate) is where buses will unload each day. School Age Care families may use Door #13 for early morning drop off and and after hour pick up (this will be the same procedure as last year for SAC). All entrances utilized will have sanitizing mats for students to wipe their shoes when they enter the building. Staff and student traffic will be kept to a minimum as much as possible during the school year. Office Main Office staff will move about the building to collect and deliver items to classroom. If/when there is a student that needs to meet with Mrs. Mungle or Mr. Livingston, the classroom teacher will call the office and one of them will go to the classroom to collect the student. Families will utilize the intercom system in the front entryway to communicate with the front office. Students that are in the nurse's station will be escorted to the families in the entryway where they can sign their child out. Any materials that are dropped off for students will be collected by the office staff wearing gloves and delivered to the classroom using gloves. Restroom breaks will be scheduled and assigned by classroom. One class at a time will be allowed at Restrooms the restroom. If the need arises, the restrooms in nurse’s office, as well as single restrooms in hallway, are also available. All hallways will be marked with arrows designating the flow of traffic. Our procedures will teach ‘stay on Hallways the right’. Hallways are wide enough for two classrooms to pass if needed but we will minimize this with our schedule. The floors will be marked with 6 ft social distancing markers so students can keep their distance. Stairways will be treated the same way as hallways and only when necessary will there be more than one class on the stairwell at a time. Classrooms sizes (number of people per classroom) will be determined by the square footage of each Classrooms classroom while allowing for 6ft social distancing. The average Templeton classroom allows for 24 people. Grade level/classroom enrollment will be utilized to determine the number of students per classroom.
