Location Overview Longmont is a Home Rule Municipality located in both Boulder and Weld County. Long- mont is located just north of the city of Boulder and is approximately 35 miles north of downtown Denver. Longmont is a part of the Denver MSA. Longmont has a population of over 93,000 people making it the 13th most populous municipality in the state of Colorado.
