Supanova 2022 SUPANOVA COMIC CON & GAMING LOCATIONS: Melbourne, Gold Coast, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide EVENT DESCRIPTION: A pop culture convention at which fans can interact with special guests from the worlds of comics, film and TV, and video games, featuring three stages for Q&As and demonstrations, along with an exhibition trade floor. KEY MESSAGING MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED TO ENTER THE EVENT WHERE REQUIRED BY STATE GOVERNMENT LAW MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCE WHERE POSSIBLE STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK WEAR A MASK WHILE INDOORS & WHERE YOU CANNOT SOCIALLY DISTANCE COMMUNICATION OF THE KEY MESSAGES • Social Media posts before the event • Attached to digital tickets via email • Signage throughout the event • Regular PA Announcements throughout the event • Sharing of this plan to staff, contractors & the public via supanova.com.au ARRIVING TO THE EVENT • All attendees must be fully vaccinated to attend where required by State Government law • All attendees must check-in via the relevant Government check-in app • All pre-purchased ticket holders to move to the ticket scanning area • Signage throughout the entry and event space • Entries and exits clearly signed with wayfinding information and safety requirements • Signage clearly displaying Supanova Terms and Conditions of entry • Supanova COVID Marshals on site • All who enter the venue are expected to comply with the necessary safety measures put in place by the venue and Supanova organisers • Sanitiser stations with supporting signage on entry to the venue • All exhibitors have hand sanitiser available to attendees • Contactless payment at most venues and encouraged for all exhibitors SUPANOVA 2022 COVID SAFE PLAN Page 2
Supanova 2022 RECORD KEEPING • All attendees must check-in via the relevant Government check-in app • Encourage attendees to download the Australian Government COVID-19 app prior to attending the event • Ticketing contractor records the details of all patrons who pre-purchase tickets, which can be synced to entry numbers • Records are kept for a minimum of 28 days SOCIAL DISTANCING • Tickets sales will be capped at the relevant State Government density limit to control the number of attendees entering the event per day • Marks will be placed on the floor of all event queuing areas showing a distance of 1.5m • Min 4m for all aisles on the exhibition floor • Signage throughout the event reminding people to physically distance • COVID-19 Marshals in place to monitor for large groups • All tickets are scanned at entry so entering patron numbers can be monitored. Security to use digital counters at all entry and exit points to always determine exact attendance figures, including those with complimentary admission • In the unlikely event that venue capacity is reached entry will be staggered and delayed until the necessary number of attendees exit • Individual spaces can be controlled and restricted via the use of crowd control barriers and signage • Reminders of physical distancing to be incorporated into hourly general event announcements • Theatre seating controlled by venue ushers and volunteers, full seat space between household groups in all seated theatre spaces • Crowd control and tenser barriers used to manage high volume queuing areas HEALTH & HYGIENE A regular and thorough cleaning schedule is in place by each venue, before, during and after the event, ensuring surfaces are disinfected, paying extra attention to high contact areas such as door handles, counters, railings, taps and food preparation areas. • Only fully vaccinated patrons, staff, exhibitors & contractors allowed on premises where required by State Government law • Face masks required while indoors and where social distancing is not possible • Hand sanitiser located at the entry and exit of each event space, bathrooms and venue foyers • All exhibitors also required to have hand sanitiser available for staff and attendees • Seats are wiped down between panel sessions each hour • Cleaners roam the venue wiping down handles and high touch areas • Toilets are cleaned regularly • Increased sanitisation of shared audio-visual items such as microphones and lecterns SUPANOVA 2022 COVID SAFE PLAN Page 3
